Moments That Made You Realize You’re Washed

Playing basketball and thinking how sore you’re gonna be the next day.

Lower back and legs are hell the next day

I'm good with normal hoop sessions. I play in 2 or 3 all day tournaments a yr tho, like the AAU days, and that night after, leg cramps have me folded up like a pretzel

Recently I logged into NT 7 days straight. Even on the weekend off work.

*balls up fist and looks at the sky*

Never again.

Started transitioning from music to 10-15 min ted talks on podcasts.

Now listening to my first NPR Ted Radio Hour. Ironically one on how we mature in a similar pattern from infancy through old age. Looking forward to them elegantly describe the phase we all become washed.

Leveling up my washedness to one day be like the OGs here :pimp:

Anyone know if Monarchs run true to size? Better to be ready ahead of time.

i need to stretch more

I saw a 19-20 year old grocery store worker kneeling on the concrete to stock the shelves today. Told him he should really get some protective knee pads or else he's gonna be hobbled at a young age. Dropping #washedwisdom
I stocked shelves for like 6 years. He gonna feel that in a year. The store actually should have pads for him

I'm 34 and in pretty good shape. My boy that lives in my complex is a machine in the gym and loves to run. Son fully tore his achilles the other day playing ball, he's 27 :{ sad because he's very hard working. He's got 2 daughters too and told me last year that he wished he was in my situation, no kids and good knees (apparently his are shot from running). Seeing him on crutches made me feel lowkey guilty because I haven't been taking advantage of the cards I've been dealt. Time to turn that washing machine off.

^^^ he wants to be in your situation because you have good knees and no kids?

I would take my kids and have bum knees all day over having good knees and no kids.

Edit: I would rather have no legs than not have my kids

I missed a year with plantar fasciitis and I was pissed about not being able to play. I didn’t have my child at the time though.

I’m healthy now and can play as much as I want. But ain’t no way I could imagine life without young addict4sneakers. Homie’s friend sounds like a sucker

Don't hasten your way to being washed.

You got good knees cuz you aint out here running like you being chased.

Look at dad of the year over here. Take my legs, not my kids.

 No need to judge the next man.

Yeah I'm good on Rogan.

He is solid for MMA and the format is unique but he has such a shallow grasp of socioeconomic and sociopolitical stuff that I just roll my eyes at him a lot. He is know it all that is not very self aware.

same reason why I don't rock with Rogan either
