Post patch this game still has way too many issues
Sometimes I'll have GREAT games but most of time the gaming experience is horrible
And I dont mean I'm losing all the time
My issue is realism, If I play season mode there should be games where I blowout another team, get routed myslf or have close games
which have all hapened
My gripe with the game really has to do with HOW those things occur
I dont get the catch and shoot logic in this game
If ur behind the arc (from anywhere practically) and no one is in your immediate area, when the shot goes up theres a noticeable hitch in the framerate(perhaps the game caluclating the shot or something) and the shot is automatic
But the GOD mode CPU has it even better
I've had the CPU shoot 3s in my face like my player doesn't register as actually being there even with a hand in the face,
No backboard, no rim , just swish
The teammate AI is still horrible; I can't tell you how many times the cpu passed the ball around looking for an open man behind the arc just for one of myplayers to stand by and watch them shoot
Defensive settings mean nada
The program code must be wacked cuz in my playing experience Play Tight= Sag Off
Double teams only seem to work when the game wants them to
Post patch - when your in a double team and you pass out theres an invisible force field that bounces the ball away from your intended target, just for the CPUto run it upcourt for an easy 2
Clipping/ Lack of hit detection?
I've had too many instances of a guard just barreling his way to the rim with 3 defenders in the paint just to have them all negated because Chris Paulturned into Casper the friendly ghost for a second
Or a pass flying through multiple defenders
The saddest part of it all is that prior to the patch I had the perfect slider set from a template I found on Operation Sports but the new magnetized contactin the lane put that to rest
Never mind that lead passing is still entirely too easy and the paint still has spots where shots can't be missed or contact ever occurs

After playing 2K and live severel times. ( I own 2K and my boss always brings Live to work)
Anyway live is good the crowd is very nice and the gameplay is better than the last few Live's. But it's waaaay too arcade like for me. Live is madefor you to score a lot of points.
The thing I hate most about live is that the players don't run the floor how they should. For example I'm running on a fast break with a point guardand nobody runs to the basket. You will have Shaq stopping at the 3 point line or something. So yea that's wack. It's way to easy to make 3s on thegame. You have to do some kind of allstar dribbling to get past your defender. Quickness doesn't matter.
Even with the flaws 2K has I still prefer it over Live. But live is getting a lot better. And next year might be a different story.

I played a demo of Live 10 at Best Buy the other day and it was looking nice. Just gotta fix my Xbox so I can rent them and compare.

I haven't experienced any problems with stats yet, sometimes in-game the announcers will say that my team won our next game before we played it, but thestats are fine.

Not at all
As much as I hate to say it Love has way better hit detection from what I've seen
Its like that song/vid with all the 2k glitches was saying:
Live looks unrealistic but plays like it and 2k looks realistic but doesn't play that way

My sliders don't seem to make its way into my player... nor does difficulty settings. Only thing u can change in my player now is the minutes per quarterthankfully but difficulty and sliders u can't

I finally gave up on my pre-patch player (dude was still in the D-League after 119 games with A average) & started over. I made it through trainingcamp & am playing with the Cavs. The agent dude keeps telling me I have other teams interested but I'm not sure how to access them. I've playedabout 9 games so far with an A- average. I'm just now getting adjusted to getting bumped on almost every drive & layup and am starting to like thegame again.
