NBA 2K11 Official Thread (Patch Put for PS3 & XBOX 360)

Okay i dunno if yall have already discussed this or not, BUT WHY IS IT THAT WHEN IM ON A FAST BREAK AND I DISH IT OUT FOR AN OPEN MAN FOR A WIIIIIDE OPEN THREE, he damnnnn near airballs or barely touches the construction. Like no matter how long you hold the shot button down, he still has a early release and misses terribly. What am i doing wrong????
 
Abused my friend with Baron Davis last night but I have really grown to despise playing this game online. The controls are like a crap shoot, players do whatever the hell they want to do sometimes. Three point shooting is damn near impossible, spacing is awful and that damn drop step dunk *!$+ is the WORST
 
Played this dude last night who did nothing but drive with LeBron. Switched to the 1-3-1 and dude couldn't do nothing with him. Too bad I missed the game winning 3 at the buzzer with Iggy

Man come on with the pictures. We don't need all of that. We know what the FT line dunk looks like. He probably has the Jordan Package. And you all said I was being "too serious because it was just a game" when I cried about it before the game even came out. Now hopefully you see how ridiculous a FT line dunk is. Especially when it can be triggered in the half court.
 
Has anyone ever had the inbounder throw errant passes while inbounding the ball?

That has happened to me at least twice in the last few games I played.

The inbounder and the player I want to pass it to would be thisclose but the inbounder would still airmail a pass out of bounds.

Even with icon passing this still happens.

Another thing that irks me is the ball morphing through your hand when you're in perfect position to block a shot, like dude showed in video a page back.

Does anybody actually have success with their team in MyPlayer? Not personal success...

Started my 2nd season and signed with Chicago. I'm 2nd in the league in scoring, received 2 player of the week awards...yet my team is 0-7. It's like I have to do EVERYTHING for my team to win. They turn the ball over, miss shots consistently, Noah missin' dunks of all things, D. Rose has a good 5 turnovers a game...what gives. I got it worse than Kobe did during the Rudy Tomjanovich year.

^Same here, I'm with the Warriors, my team can't win for crap. I've been trying to "play my role" since I'm a 3-point specialist and not initiate as much offense, and the games have been a lot closer, but I still go

since some players have horrible shot selection. I'd see Lou Amundson try to do a spin move and then shoot a 18-footer.

I know the feeling all too well playing with the Kings.  The ONLY guy on my team that can create and make his shots is Tyreke.  Cats are missing passes, layups, wide open 3s.  Out of 5 or 6 games we've one once.  I've asked for a trade and now the crowd says trade him when I get the ball.  I pray I get traded and soon

I got drafted to the Nets first round then requested a trade with the quickness of Usain Bolt after we lost 7 games straight. Those guys don't ever pass. I ended up with Utah and now we're 2nd in the West.

I don't know what it is about this year's My Player mode but I'm playing it a lot more than 2K10
 
For everyone, which Jordan Challenge did you find the hardest?

The flu game challenge is testing my patience...

- It feels like the Bulls as a team have the flu (if I remember one or two players had a mini case of it back in '97).
- I can't run back on defense, Utah is throwing full length court passes off our misses and getting easy dunks/layups (mainly Byron Russell).
- HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO GET 7 REBOUNDS WHEN MJ CAN'T JUMP?!?!?
 
^ I found Bad Boys, Father's Day and shockingly The Shrug easy. Double Nickel was annoying because of John Starks, but Flu Game is hard

I really didn't think I'd be able to hold Clyde Drexler, and when MJ hit that final three he didn't shrug...
 
^ He shrugged when I beat it but there was no cut scene close up of it. Just saw him do it as Portland was taking the ball out. 
The Flu Game was definitely the toughest for me.
