NBA 2K11 Official Thread (Patch Put for PS3 & XBOX 360)

anybody know how to gte out of this mode where iits just the players legs and feet running around the court???? smh i get a dunk and this %@@! happens

When you're playing someone online and they quit during the game... does it count as a win? or is it like you never played the game.

I can't stand the fact they let people rate you when they quit a game on you. Tired of seeing my rating go down because some dudes salty. SMH.

FINALLY got this today. A lot different from 2k9 since that was the last one i had since my xbox broke...PS3 ftw.

BTW what is everyone using for passing? It seems a little different this time around, wither that or the Ai is more difficult defensively. I was reading in the booklet that you can use R1 and Rstick? any suggestions?? thanks..

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure all it fixed was the online connecting issues. The annual big patch fixing the major issues comes out later this month or December I think.

John Wall x Shannon Brown is such an unfair combo

And Robin Lopez and Kevin Love block anything that's near them

so i beat the double nickle challenge today and all i got was a pair of team jordans -_- how do you unlock the numbered ones? do I have to play on all star or hall of fame? Im still getting used to 2k by playing on Pro since Ive played Live since 1995

Are there other ways to unlock them?

^the more you play the more jordans you unlock. its that simple. they unlock randomly. sometimes you will get a numbered one, sometimes you'll get a team jordan

Man ppl online are so damn annoying all they do is pick the Lakers or Heat and cheese with the main players.

Dwayne Wade and LeBron are ridiculous in this game dunking on 3 people and always getting the foul call. $#1% like that makes me never want to play online, also that one guy that decides to harass you up and down the court trying to steal the ball and making you turn it over is def unappreciated, dudes need to hop off the nuts.
Yes im mad

So I picked this up last night. I am not the dude who buys every new 2K game. I did buy 2k9 and can't even remember which one before that I bought (maybe 2k3). I'll buy whenever there is a buzz and the hype for this game (and to play as MJ) made me buy it. I'd say I'm right below the casual player.

So far, this game is incredibly hard. Yea, I get that it's damned realistic. I get that it is one of the best 'real-life' in game simulations ever. I get that you have to practice and run plays and all that crap to be 'good' at it.

As a casual player who has a real life and can't dedicate 10 hours a day to play a video game, the difficulty takes away from the enjoyment of it. There is an element of instant gratification that I expect when I buy a video game, which with an NBA game would mean trucking d00dz and dunking from the free-throw line at will (I call it F-U mode). Even WITH the game sliders set to my advantage it's not as great as 2k9's F-U mode.

They made the game too smart I think. Too realistic.

I want to hit 30 foot threes and jump over dudes. If I wanted a game THIS realistic I'd just go to the park

Anyway, I won't buy another NBA game until I master this one which means I'll probably be playing this one for the next four years.

I just got to the second round of the playoffs on my player. It seems like the coaches BS you a lot more during the playoffs (getting benched more, etc) and your opponents are like 3x harder....

I know. I stop playing online back with 2k9. Everyone was playing with the Celtics, cavaliers, or Lakers all the damn time!
