NBA 2K11 Official Thread (Patch Put for PS3 & XBOX 360)

First time playing with the patch, I can't do any damage with the Grizzlies like I used too.

Also, I cant even play an online game!  I keep getting the "there's been a network connection problem, the game will not count" message.  Anyone have any solutions?

EDIT: I'm on Xbox btw

Is there any news on a new patch being released? Whenever I play myPlayer, plays don't begin to be run half way through the shot clock AND it's the same play over and over again. SMH.

On 360 just downloaded whatever patch it is that makes you run a play every time on MyPlayer. Is there a way to delete this?

Damn i didnt know you can kill the play in my player pressing L1 on ps3 and is it LB on xbox.

I can tell many of you don't understand what goes into an NBA game. I was tight when the patch first dropped but the patch is ill. No more cheesing the CPU with cherry picking. If you stand in your spot the team will run the play if not just runtowards the ball handler and he will either move so you should try to get open. Don't be scared to cut to the basket while calling for the ball if your open you'll get the pass but you might get a bad pass icon but hey a point is a point. Fundamentals are the key to enjoying this game. Step your basketball IQ up. If you know what to do on the court in real life then you should apply it to this game. Every possession is crucial and no lead is Safe

honestly I haven't touched the game mainly because of the patch. They need to fix that!

Love the patch. I can finally hit 3s. The release is perfect

the L1 button just makes someone set a pick for you.... it breaks the play but it will result in the PG holding the ball for 23 seconds and shooting a fade away defended 3. 

The patch isnt about making the game more realistic.... it made the game unplayable...
i mean in the end this IS a video game.... and you should have the option to turn over the play calling in my player.... if you have more fun the other way.... i dont appreciate them telling me how i have to enjoy my video game that i paid for.

and there is no excuse for players missing wide open shots just because the AI of my teammates are ******ed....  2k dropped the ball with this patch.

Funny how you all consider My Player as the whole game. I guess if that is all you play I can understand.

but you cant tell me you dont see the dramatic difference between your  computer players.... and the other teams players who are all scorching hot at all times.

i dont have to provide "proof" of something that is a wildly known problem amongst 2k players.
if you arent the one creating the patch... then your opinion is just as important as everyone else's.

the game is flawed... and the patch didnt fix everything to make the game complete and playable.... the fact that we go and spend $60 on a game... when the company already is working on a patch to be released after the game comes out... tells you how full of crap it is.

even you... who spends huge amounts of time doing edits... to a game that should be good to go out the box... is ridiculous...

It honestly depends who you speak to. Like myself, I don't see it as an issue.

Do you play with Clutch Factor on? If you do, that is a BIG reason why you might see it happening. Try turning that off and test results.

I spend ridiculous amounts of time editing because 2K refuses to hire someone that knows the NBA to do Roster Edits. I don't do it because of broken gameplay. Big difference.

Yea which is why I have been screaming to you all to not use those dumb rosters that 2K gives you as a base for you My Player. Just asking for trouble.

there definitely is a difference between the fg% of the user & ai controlled teams...but *biggie voice* "whatchu think all the SLIDERS are for" *biggie voice" you can customize your experience to be as easy or difficult as you like...
