NBA 2K11 Official Thread (Patch Put for PS3 & XBOX 360)

I finally got traded from the Wizards to the Heat and the difference is now night and day. Earned a starting spot, Heat need a PG anyway, and now I've got my own plays and throw in Bron, Bosh, & Wade and I'm doing pretty good. Of course I miss open shots, but as DC stated it happens in the actual game. NOTHING is guaranteed with a layup or jumpshot.

hey I noticed that online & in sim games my pass icons went away, I went to controller settings and turned it on but im still having trouble.... any advice?

i was on the heat and demanded a trade.
you'll start to hate it eventually. even tho you're the starting PG, sometimes while you're on the court lebron will act as the PG and hog the ball. same goes with wade... 

also, since lebron/wade are the best players on the team, when you're down they're gonna start doing stupid things.

example:

- wade imbounding, down by 3, 20 seconds left. you're wide open, lebron double teamed. who does wade pass to? lebron. where does the ball go? out of bounds.

a lot of those shots were frustration shots too after missing a couple in a row that a normal NBA player with a mid range rating of 95 would make

Honestly, my gaming experience hasn't changed as drastically as some of you with the new patch, then again I still haven't touched My Player Mode, and that seems to be were most of the gripes are coming from.

As for the horrible shooting %'s I experienced that the few times I played. I adjusted by posting up my players more to get easier shots or draw fouls so that I could get to the FT line more.

I don't really have a problem with the patch. Maybe because I play Association a lot, and haven't played My Player in a while.

All examples of how we lost a game to the Knicks recently.  We were down and Lebron just started toss up shots while he was double teamed and I was open in the corner.  The plays being ran now in My Player are very redundant

Some dude from SGG or NT challenged me in 2K. So we play and he played zone the whole first quarter. I questioned him about it cause he claimed he was legit. Well I was about to not waste my time but he called me a cry baby so I had to play then. So he had Utah and shot 23 of his teams 45 shots with Deron Williams. Well I ended up picking him apart scientifically and won the game. Feels good

ask for a trade. i got traded to NJ and i KILLED miami by 20+ when we met a few games ago.
now i'm facing them in the 2nd round and they will get eliminated, guaranteed

Using xbox I can't play any games against friends past the first 2 or 3 minutes in the 1st quarter

. I can play ranked matches fine all the way too but there's always a "connection interruption"...anyone else having this problem?

damn on my 2nd season now. Got drafted by the twolves 

asked for a trade about 5 games in...got to the Warriors and beasted, won Rookie of the Year, the Chip, and Finals MVP. Playing for the Lakers now,starting SG with Kobe at PG, Artest at SF, Pau at PF, and Bynum at C. 15-0 so far and 2nd in the league in scoring with like 29.8 behind Rose, killin the shooting %, averaging like .651%, 9 boards and 6 assists per game. seriously addicted to my player man.

btw...seeing the weirdest trades on here though...Tmac on the bucks, saw Melo on the Grizzlies, SJax on the Warriors, Hill on the Rockets...etc...anybody else see funny !*** like that??

Anyone else still having problems w/ disconnects online? I thought the patch fixed this but every game i play it says theres a server error and disconnects

.... My Player is where its at tho, Starting an Association w/ memphis but i dnt hve time for that cuz i play my player so much gnr
