We’ve seen Wardell literally get thrown around on the court, he’s not respected physically on the court.

Lakers fans cheering for Wardell and Warriors? That’s some wild ****, same state teams.

people talmbout the physicality in the 80/90s
steph aint a small dude. 6'3 and built solid :pimp:

Disappointed wavycrocket wavycrocket didnt make this post

Curry would struggle in a more physical era, with hand checking and less favorable rules for offensive players. People forget that the rules have changed over the years making it a lot harder to play defense. Curry wouldn't be trash in the 80s but he wouldn't have nearly as much freedom of movement as he has now.

Also, as Bill Simmons brings up a lot, the injuries that Curry had really his career would have ended his career in the 80s. Medical advancement has made his recovery possible.

these comparisons between arrows are impossible because we're assuming that you just dropped Magic Johnson from 1983 into 2019. Realistically, Magic would have been ruling to shoot 3s in HS if he grew up now

Mark Price went dumb in the late 80s/early 90s. Curry would eat.

Lol at Steph's frail *** dominating the 80s.

you think those little guys like mo cheeks, isiah could check steph. that's a ******* tank coming at them with range and crazy handles. magic, mark jackson, stockton would look foolish trying to stay in front of him as he dances around them with their lack of foot speed

with his ability to score, they'd probably have steph playing the SG

Yet....LeBron couldn’t score on him last year in the finals.

i remember dudes used to love saying that steph wouldn't last in a more "physical" era but were the same crowd complaining about hard "illegal" screens that bogut/dray used to set

Earl watson said Curry is one of the strongest PGs in the league. How he gets open is he’s the best screen setting PGs in the league.

you think A.I. crossed mike....bruh....curry would've danced on mike and pulled from 4 feet behind the line.

Dominating means he's a top 5 player in that era.

Magic
Bird
Jordan
Hakeem
Barkley
Zeke

Hell to the nah, hell he was dominant for all of maybe 3-4 seasons in his whole career in this soft *** era.

they said curry was the 2nd strongest player on the team in 2015, behind Festus Ezeli. The trainer said Curry deadlifts 430. Yall sleep on his core strength.

Stronger than Iggy? Stronger than Draymond? Ok, bruh. Believe what you want.

if it wasn't for highlight videos and twitter links every nba related thread on here would be 100% dumpster fire

you guys really think steph would dominate in the same manner in the 80's? he had problems with gritty players that gets in his face (delladova) and that era has plenty of guards/players who are known to rough up star players.
