This team looks exactly like that 2016 team without KD!

I was watching and there was a point in the fourth where Golden State couldn’t get a bucket.

That’s where KD has helped the last 2 years. This series imo is 6/7 if KD can’t go. If Klay isn’t Klay Raptors can pull this off

yeah, it's moment like these where the offense is in pure struggle in a close game, steph can't get to his spots off ball and they can't run that 1-4 PnR in succession; KD's ability to go ISO is the ultimate insurance policy.

sometimes i just want steph to go full-Myrie and start saucin up his defender and get to the lane..but damn it, he'll most likely settle for a contested step back three

If Toronto can get someone to show up as a second solid option they are in the driver seat worked in Game 1

Spicy P & Kawhi worked them

Spicy P ain't having another game 1 type scoring performance. in a 7 game series regression to the mean is almost undefeated. he'll continue to get rebounds and play great defense but if toronto is expecting him to drop 20+ a game, especially if the warriors aren't rushing to double kawhi, they're in trouble.

Imo, the main reason he doesn't hit the myrie button is because defenders are allowed to grab and hold and push and bump him without a foul call which makes him more likely to lose the ball with no recourse. He gets fouled a lot, especially on drives. And gets to the rim at will, but getting knocked out of the air with no call that results in a turnover is discouraging.

Kyrie don't gaf about turnovers lol. Let curry get protected like harden and he's putting dudes in the blender from the perimeter nightly.

Toronto showed a lot of weakness tonight. Warriors got this. May be pushing my Warriors in 5 to Warriors in 6 though.

couldnt agree more. i might have my biased blinders on but the amount of body contact that steph gets when he attacks the basket that results in non-calls is head scratching. refs egregious with how they swallow the whistle with him.

folks will point to the 16 or 17 fts he took in game 1 to say im trippin, but that game was an anomaly when it comes to how refs generally officiate steph

Draymond Green during the final minutes of game 2:

nah. was dray a bit pass happy? Sure. But was he doing it blatantly seeking out a trip dub? nah. dray’s constantly trying to get the ball into a better shooter/cutter’s hands. 9/10 times it’s the smarter play.

But if dray ever develops a floater coming down the lane on that slip screen, my gawd, league DEFINITELY ******. it’s either death by floater or by lob.

Yeah, it's stupid to say Dray was stat padding. He had no other choice but to get rid of it.

He definitely passed some open shots, there is no way he wasn't aware of it.
Can't really criticize him though since they won the game. But that might not be the case in another close game this series.
