My gawd the yams

Sheesh YES

The 4 votes are from the Cavs taking the warriors to 6 games
The whole point of having a Finals MVP is to reward winning. The regular season MVP should be the one that takes context into consideration. It's ridiculous he was even eligible to receive votes when the Finals inherently implies it should only be about winning. So in the future some dude could focus on dropping massive numbers regardless of losing cause he'll have the chance of winning a Finals MVP and boost his career resume? It diminishes the whole point of the Finals.

If Steph dropped 50 every game from now on but Warriors still lose, he shouldn't receive a single vote

It is actually crazy to think about it being tied right now. This team is so DEPLETED. We are about to see Jonas, Quin Cook, Mckinnie and Bogut play NBA Finals major minutes.
Mckinnie probably the only who wont hurt them on both ends

You should email those four voters

People who bring up Steph's individual play don't get it and that's why you think he's insulated. He's not. Shooting bad doesn't mean you play bad. It simply means your shot isn't falling. Steph is better, and ultimately his team, becuase he's not stupid enough nor selfish enough to make a series about him while forgetting his team. If superstars were more worried about winning with their team than individual accolades...they'd be able to beat him. But clearly, they're unable to get that. So they'll continue to lose to him. Every single time you bring up these foolish individual reasons you prove you have no idea what you are watching. This is also why "bistephuals" keep telling you he's underrated. YALL still want him to be some iso player while watching it continue to fail against him. Just dumb
