I can't believe Portland actually tried to offer him a deal. Portland was acting like Pacman at the strip club this off-season.

Odom is dumb. Lakers basically saying, we like you but not that much by giving him a lower offer...

But props to him for wanting to win again. I don't think the Heat can challenge the big 3 out East...

I have no envy against the Lakers, I just assumed it was another "reported source saying he's returning."

Although would have made things a lot easier for the Mavs...

So are the Lakers the favorites to come out of the West again, in your guys' eyes?

Or do the Spurs, with an extended vacation due to an early exit, able to whip up enough energy for one more push to the Finals?

. That will be a hell of a match-up if both teams are healthy in the playoffs.

This aint 2003 Artest for those who havent realized....the West is pretty dead tho. A lot of competitive teams, but as of right now only 1 eliteteam which just shook up their chemistry, probably for the worse.

The road goes thru them or San Antonio next year...I think Duncan may have one more in him, wouldnt be surprised to see them win it.

Is Ray Felton still a Free Agent??? WHY?

LA is the favorite in the whole league, hands down if you ask me. SA could take them to 6 if healthy but LA just has too much firepower. And BOS is nice onpaper, the Sheed signing will certainly help them grab a top spot in the East, but I expect one of the Big 3 to be injured during the season or postseason.Even if healthy, I just think LA is too tough.

Odom resigning >>>>>>> Sheed signing

Sheed is living off rep as much as any player in the league.

Boston is still a strong contender for the title though.

^^I'm not ready to say that Artest signing is better than the Sheed signing, because I think there's too much for Ron to prove both on and off thecourt. We'll obviously be able to make that assessment AFTER the season, maybe it's just me, I'm just not ready to think that yet.
