Actually...Fantastic Four is no longer around. Marvel began a new storyline with the remaining three members and started Future Foundation with...

Spider-Man. Story just started last week.

And in regards to Marvel Writers killing off Johnny Storm, the storyline for the comic was going stale and they needed a big refresh with the direction of F4...And his death in the Marvel Universe is legit with no plans of bringing him back.

i still don't like the casting choice.  it would've been better if they cast someone new or maybe a soldier like some rumors were saying.
it's not like people are going to watch the movie because of chris evans.  most people think he's a horrible actor.

I don't think he's such a horrible actor, he's just really had the same type of roles.  He's practically been the same "too cool/always joking" kind of character but from everything I've seen in trailers/pics for this movie, this seems to be his most serious role to date.  All it takes is one really good performance to make people change their minds about you and since he's Cap for the next few movies, it's safe to assume that he'll be the face of Cap for a majority of kids/casual movie goers and in a few years, nobody will even remember the F4 movies...not that they were that good to begin with anyway

Looks good, but yes they could have picked a better Captain America.
And

, what is up with the death of the Human Torch. I think I know what Marvel is trying to get at (having their comic book universe align with their movie franchises: ie: Ultimate Nick Fury being Samuel L. Jackson).

It makes sense in some aspects, but in others... it's questionable. Granted the only story arc I've read in comics was the Civil War in Marvel, but I don't know... Spider Man being apart of the Fantastic Four, eh?

IMO the storyline fits well with Spider-Man current story arc. Parker finally has a well paying job that allows him to work on various new suits and new experiments on his own time and that's all I could say right now...We'll have to wait and see how the storyline develops.
Does anyone know if the Avengers will appear at some part of this movie? I know Fury will be in the film...I'd like to guess at the end when they find Cap's body?

the movie takes place during WW2, you wouldnt give the costume something modern looking until later in the movie/ avengers film

also, theres supposed to be nick fury, cosmic cube, and a mentioning of Wakanda in the film.

this makes perfect sense to me. the costume looks like it fits the timeline just fine. I am dissapointed in who is playing captain america only because he was the human torch, but this movie looks promising. Marvels doing a very good job of tieing in all the characters and story lines. No other franchise has really done it like this before. Marvel has made the best comic movies by far. Only thing close is/was close to this is the Nolan Batman franchise.
