Supposedly, there are a lot of owners that are happy with the punishment NE received. The guy was saying that the Pats get the most complaints every year. I didn't get to hear what was said before tha but that's interesting that they're being complained about every year.

I heard the same thing + also that it's odd more current players haven't popped up and given their support to both the Pats and Brady. Usually in these odd circumstances you see a lot more... but it's been really quiet.

Let some Pats fans tell it the whole league is bitter, a bunch of haters who are out to get them.

Ay though, that **** was funny as **** when you dropped that line out of nowhere.

It's all love in here.

Pats have been horribly persecuted by the NFL for the last decade plus.  It's clear they've been out to take down Kraft and Brady.
Wut. Random as ****.

Who said dis doe?

Wut. Random as ****. :lol

Who said dis doe?

Your Mans.

If everybody does it why are y'all the only team getting snitched on? It can't be cuz y'all win some much and team are haters. Y'all had 10 a year gap between championships and no other team got accused like this. The Giants and Steelers have won rings 2 rings in that gap and nothing about them.

i mean i think it's pretty reasonable to assume that even though we lost a couple SB's between the last two chips...we've won pretty consistently and been perennial contenders. you look at the teams that have snitched and well...they're teams we've had a history with. so yeah, i am going to accuse them of snitchin' and assume it has to a lot do with who we are.

it's fine. like i've been saying. we got caught. so punish us. just try and make it fair, at least.

The Patriots for 1 are cocky and got too comfortable

2 they win a lot so every thing is seen under a microscope

3 they have been caught before so everything is monitored x2

and talking about the Steelers they cover up Maurkice Pouncey :smokin on a daily habit

So everybody does it but the rest of the league is ganging up on Pats? :lol

Ok.

like everything in this whole deflate gate, totally taken out of context. but whatever. see my post from earlier today...

we push the envelope, no doubt. if there's a loophole, we'll try and exploit it. and more so than getting caught, when you're typically winning games, people will look for ways to get even (i.e. make comments like clark or that dude from houston or harbaugh or the colts). as much as we all kid around, i think we all know that most teams try and find an edge with loopholes. but who cares if it's a team like the browns or titans? hell, i'm sure a few teams could hand their playbook to the browns and still win. but when you're constantly getting washed by a particular team, well it's time to blow that whistle. no coincidence that it's the ravens, colts, jets blowing the whistle on us.

not about "the whole league" being bitter and haters. it's about getting that extra edge. just like teams find loop holes gain an edge, teams will complain to take away that edge. especially teams you have a history with.

My hot takes on that topic:

Jets - Mangini spilled the beans so he straight up snitched. It produced Spygate and sanctions against New England so you can't say it was without merit. But it also didn't do him any favors around the league for that either...almost got blackballed and he later said he regretted doing it. Not really debatable.

Colts - No problems here. If they suspected it, they had every right to do it and I don't fault them. Even though it didn't matter at all on the field, it's worked well for Grigson off the field x2 since his request to the league produced something & it's completely taken attention away from the fact he builds one-dimensional teams w/ alarming flaws. So kudos to them for that. No sarcasm.

Ravens - Weaksauce on their part to complain about the ineligible receiver thing, but not snitching. They helped remove a loophole exploited by a rival. Still, pretty weak of them to do and it undermines the image they love to push on people. And it's looking like I was completely wrong about their possible involvement in Deflategate.

To non-fans and players, the Patriots are an unlikeable and arrogant bunch. I get it. The NFL (hell, the sport in general) is a ridiculously super competitive league. Similar issues between teams (Pats and non-Pats related) will continue to pop up forever. From legit beefs like Spygate to mostly petty **** like Deflategate. That's the nature of the beast.
