NFL Week 17 In Review...

im just frustrated as a fan of football because out of denver, san diego, and oakland, the chargers would have a chance to make the game competetive and actually have a chance at winning while instead were subjected to a most likely pittsburgh steeler blowout win which will be boring to watch.
that would be for the wildcard.
we're talking about the division here, in which case common opponents has preference because scheduling guarantees 8 common games within the division.  SD simply crapped the bed against the NFC North and AFC East while the Broncos and Raiders faired slightly better. that's all she wrote.

speaking of the AFC West, the worst receiver of all time Darrius Heyward-Bey had a shade under 1000 yards receiving (missed some games) and was the best wideout for a playoff contending team. also, the "bust" Reggie Bush had 1100 yards rushing on his new team. i'll give credit where it's due since no one else will.

Shout out to Matt Stafford for being the best young QB since Dan Marino.

Dude is younger than Andy Dalton and 9 months older than Cam Newton.

I look forward to watching you assault Brett Favre's and Peyton Manning's records.

^Wow, didn't realize he was so young. 5,000 yards in a season already at 23 years old? That's impressive.

But you're not. You're a Cowboys fan. Already in the off-season.

We need so many things.
We need a QB, we need right tackle, we need Norv Turner as our OC, we need at least 1 safety, we need a deep threat WR, we need a left guard, we need an inside LB.

We need Woody to scorch the earth off this season.

thanks for clarifying that for me, i had no clue how that worked.

damn though it still sucks to see denver win that division,   crazy if kc wins that game in overtime week 16 they would've been the division champs.

i think everything after strength of schedule is way to much as is, but i would be pissed if i missed the playoffs due to a coin toss

--49ers are in the playoffs and with a first round bye at that..........

--There were a few people that somehow didn't think the 49ers would go 13-3, now's the time for those individuals to do the right thing and publicly apologize for their mis-statements.

--Cam Newton had a great year, I just hope they improve on that defense for next year.

--Once again Tim Tebow proves how much of a FRAUD he is, and Tebow lovers yet again are no different.  In 2 games against the same team this bum was only able to complete a whopping 8 passes.  This dude should be never be authorized to be a starting quarterback in the league again once this season is over, which for them will be next week.  Move him to the O-Line and call it a day.

--What can I say about the Oakland Raiders and that Carson Palmer trade that hasn't been said already, dudes really thought they had a franchise quarterack......

.

--Glad to see Vick finish the season up strong.

--Congrats once again to Drew Brees for breaking Marino's record.

--Some folks look to blame Tony Romo for any and everything that goes wrong with the Cowboys.

--Nice shootout game in Green Bay.

--How dumb is Stevie Johnson, dude just might have played himself out of Buffalo.

--As far as the MVP race is concerend regarding Rodgers and Brees it goes like this.................

i mean if they were still 16-0...i think it's unanimous. but that loss opens it up to more a debate. may not be fair, but it how it works i guess

He will be breaking Brett's total interception record, don't know what other records you could be talking about. Talented but always hurt.

Threw the same amount as Eli Manning and two more than Drew Brees.........

9 of his 16 came in a three game stretch when the finger on his throwing hand was broken.

Dudes straight talking out of they %%# on here.

"Throws to many picks"

he can throw 16 a year for next 17 years and not have the record.

I can understand Norv to an extent but AJ Smith?

After seeing Matt Flynn throw for 480 and 6 TDs against a team TRYING TO WIN, you guys really going to tell me Aaron Rodgers (who I like as a player) should be MVP over Brees? Did you see how the offense moved for the Saints once Chase Daniel got in there.

I'm sorry, I still think he's a Top 5 QB, but Rodgers benefits from being in a good system with great players, not saying the Saints don't have a great core around Brees, but he's more "valuable" to the Saints.

Can't wait for Saturday. Lions don't wanna come to the Dome.

It ain't Aaron Rodgers fault Chase Daniels sucks and Matt Flynn doesn't.

If Aaron Rodgers threw as much as Brees and played in a dome he would have thrown for 6000 yards.

EaglesInsider: Lurie: I want to see our team coached by Andy Reid next year and I can't wait. If our goal is to win title, Andy Reid is our guy.

EaglesInsider: Lurie: Staff changes are up to coach Reid.

Reid better reassign Castillo and hire Spags or I'll be pissed
