In all seriousness, the strength of blue in the sole depends a lot on the lighting in the pics. I saw some 2016s yesterday on my raffle runs and I didn't think the blue was that bad at all. But to each his own. My idea of "not bad at all" might be a lot different than yours. Personally I don't mind it, and I don't think it's exactly the same material or color as what you see on the XIs. I've never had a black V turn green on me; my DS Vs are all either slightly yellow or basically translucent with no real color, so the blue does fade over time. The 2007s and 2011s both had somewhat bluish tints, and when they were brand new the 2000s had a very slight blue tint. Many don't remember that.
I also checked out the Es yesterday, and although none of the ones I saw were perfect, none of them were as bad as some of the pics made them appear. So my E fears have been assuaged for the most part.
It's still a stupid mistake on JB's part, though.
