I don't think ISO ball was Blatts idea

I don't think it was either, it was alot of LeBron's influence - but Blatt let it happen. He's the coach, he's suppose to command the ship and get respect. Obviously he didn't, no one would listen.

That didn't happen in Miami, Spolstra/Riley ran things and in turn LeBron's efficiency was All-Time status.

Serious question, is Lebron just not a likeable guy? My mom doesn't follow ball at all but she's heard of Lebron (who hasn't?). She still chose to root for GSW. In my experience most non-basketball fans I've run into chose GSW over Lebron and the Cavs.

I wonder how many offensive ideas of Blatt's bron scratched...

You don't just win hella euro chips and then come over here and can't make adjustments and call plays. I kinda feel like Blatt never got a full chance simply because he had to work with that black hole

Like how do you say you don't want to have the ball in your hands, you don't want to take every shot and have every assist, you don't wanna dribble for 23 seconds....and then you insist that you do it over and over and over again, every single game?

That's where you can nitpick and be critical of LeBron, his arrogance and unwillingness to respect the coach and gameplan. He's the best player in the world but that doesn't give you the right to run the team. You did not see that in Miami.

I don't know which coaches out there can be viable options, but it has to be someone who stands up to LeBron and his arrogance.

Now that the Warriors are champ, any chance of a 2peat?

I know it's repeat.
Too early. Lot of key players were hurt during the year and the playoffs. If you're a Warriors fan, just enjoy this one.

Ska,

Am I the one ready to get banned cause I said ''chill out"?

It's different because Lebron's being shoved down peoples throats and they don't like it so they long for the moment to say "See, this is why he's not that great." From his "regular life" comments, to "the decision" (he could've donated that money out of pocket just as well" to his "greatest athlete in the world" comment. If dude would be humble and take his loses, the slander would be full tilt but he just won't.

Let's be really real. For the Most part, people don't like Lebron because they're either a fan of an EC team, Knicks/Bulls, etc, or a Kobe fan. Or people are sick of the media hype/coverage. I can dig that. Nobody cares about about the Decision and his other comments.

Media hype is the main culprit. Lebron this, Lebron that. The Decision feelings have died down, especially since he came back home. I'm a Bulls fan and I'm more concerned w/ what my team is and isn't doing to improve, not worrying about Lebron, but u blink and he's there being forced down your throat. Again, it's also his arrogance. If you're winning all the time, coo be arrogant, but also remain humble because that moment u lose, u get what he's getting now :lol the public aren't forgiving.

My mom and sister both hate lebrun, and my mom doesn't even really watch much basketball.  I think most fans think he is just a super arrogant guy, and most people don't like arrogance in their sports.

Word.

No idea how you could fire Blatt after this series... Makes no sense

He's just not built for it, Yes the Warriors are the better team and it was impressive the Cavs won two games.

But the Cavs had issues offensively all season. No structure or identity. That starts from the top and with LeBron.

If people didn't like arrogance in their sports then Kobe and MJ wouldn't be half the men they are same with their following. Same with Ali :lol

Blatt will be back. Warriors just the better team. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Yea, wasn't Blatt's fault. He just got his feet wet in this league and what better way than w/ a trip to the Finals. He needs to be more assertive though. That Vine of JR completely ignoring him is a disgrace and embarrassment to the organization. He's the coach, he might not have all the right answers but show the dude a level of respect you would want shown to you.

my one friend, he's white if that matters any, he's never seen lebron play, didnt know anything about him except that he hoops, i had to explain what makes him dominant the other day. he's never heard of ray allen or knows anything about kobe either. he just watches hockey. i think he's kind of racist too, but he's oblivious to it. I'm actually not interested in being friends with him anymore.

Did David Blatt really have a choice?

And with the Heat, there was Pat Riley, one of the greatest coaches of all time controlling the show, he has the juice to put Lebron in his place

How many coaches currently in the NBA have the juice to do that to Lebron?

Better yet, how many available NBA coaches have the juice to deal with Lebron?

lowkey...if the cavs had D'Antoni...they would've been better. He would've found ways to get jr and iman cooking.
wouldve started JR the last 2 to get him more involved early. i have no idea what shump did for this team? is he the one getting credit for klay being a spectator?

But blatt takes all of the criticism away from the team.  If the public suspects that they have an awful coach, it will make the media focus on him, and not the team.
