NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

Came home from a 13 hour shift to this.  Feeling some sort of way right now.

From the guys that host Brew Dogs on Esquire TV. My cousin told me that I should try it. I was pleasantly surprised. A really solid IPA. I did not expect to like it so much.

Not always about refreshment, papi.  Drinking most beers ice cold mutes the flavor, in my opinion.  Particularly stouts.

My favorite breweries tend to serve their stouts at the same temp as everything else.. It's a huge turnoff.. That may be the only beer snob type activity that pisses me off.

You'll see me with both hands on a stout trying to warm the heck out of a stout.. Buying a growler to take home helps that out. But still, I am highly disappointed by some of my favorite breweries doing the norm with ALL of their beers,,,, I'm sure they are great all served in pints with no specialty glasses in sight. But temperature is one thing I feel has a HUGE impact over flavor on STOUTS specifically.

I guess if anything I save some money by letting my stouts warm up as others have their 2nd or third drinks.

Happy St Patrick's Day NT!

Got after it a bit yesterday with a few Ten FIDY's, a Hopslam, and some Surly Abrasive while watching my Spartans put that work on scUM.

Comp - Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Huna. Live up to the hype?

Feel free to add me.  I haven't really bothered learning how to do much with the app yet.

I think I already have too many apps and too many social media networks than I can handle.

the old guardian was nice. tasted some smokiness and some sweetness, and the hops were there.

Finally tried the LH Milk Stout! Gotta say it is quite Delicious!! It's at the top of my list of new stouts thus far. Wanna try a few more posted on here before venturing into the IPAs (curious about the Stone n Dogfish ones)

#TeamStout tho :hat

If you're venturing into IPAs I would start slow.  Something like Stone Enjoy By or Stone Ruination would probably be too intense.  Dogfish 60 and 90 are good introductory IPAs because they're malty enough to balance out the hoppiness.  My suggestions to start out would be Bell's Two Hearted, Sierra Nevada Torpedo, Lagunitas IPA, and Cigar City Jai Alai.

Maybe even start with a session IPA?  I've been hearing good things about Stone Go-To, and it's definitely fresh because it just came out.
