While I'm not agreeing (or disagreeing) with the statement based off of this one clip, I can give you what I saw here.
At the end of the day, wrestling is supposed to be simulated combat. So when someone does something what would strategically make sense and so smoothly, as with this clip, it can be a thing of beauty/art. What I liked about this clip was the transition into the cravat pin and that hooking of the leg. The little details is what makes the difference. The fact that he looked controlled and like he knew what he was doing, and not just going through the moves/motion, is what makes suspends your disbelief in the simulation. Hooking of the leg makes it look like he's actually trying to win the battle, which automatically connects with the brain as "he's really going for it."
I'll have to watch him wrestle, but I'm intrigued to see more of him. Thanks for the clip. I had no idea he even existed.
