There is a difference between a both teams having no fouls to give, and some tough inside shots with contact going on to win the game (refs letting them play).....
......as opposed to a team with a foul to give, everyone knows the guy is going to do a simple reach in to cut the time down on a simple iso on the perimeter. The ref in that situation almost always calls the foul once a reach in occurs, it was as if the ref didn't know the situation at all.
Dude put his hands up AFTER the reach in to avoid getting a shooting foul called on him, NOT because he was trying to not sell the foul.

i can see if he throw up 1 hand to say im taking the foul but EVERYBODY understands wat throwing 2 hands up mean

He could have committed a MORE intentional foul. That's the bottom line.

From this picture...it doesn't look like this ref saw the foul and didn't call it. He was just looking to seeif Melo stepped out of bounds.
