The Dirk and Monta duo can be very very dangerous. They'll put up digits. Or... Could be very very bad and they could clash with friction between game tying and winning situations. Hopefully they've spent sometime on and off the court together. If Monta can listen to Dirks advice on how to win, Mavs can make 8th seed.

I really like monte's mid range game. a p&r with him and dirk could be very effective. They both gotta pick up their D though

Agreed upon.

Everyone knows Monta is a hall of famer. Dirk is first ballot no doubt too. Two hall of famers + Dalembert + Calderon aka John Stockton 2.0 :x :x :smokin

No Monta isn't a hall of fame player. Golden State gave away his chucking self.

Monta has the driving ability of Wade, with the midrange game of Dirk. :hat

Monta's shooting is streaky but that driving ability with the "blow by ya" action. It's over.

Monta has never made an all-star game...never been all-nba, but people are really talking about him being a HOF player? I really hope my sarcasm meter is broken.

I think what you mean is "Monta isn't even good at basketball, but..."

Pretty sure that had to be sarcasm though.

Yeah I think that statement was sarcasm. He def is not a HOF player. As previously stated Dirk is healthy which is huge. Calderon is a good mid range shooter and facilitates nicely. And I have always liked Marion because he plays great D and you dont have to run any plays for him to get 12-15 pts. If Monte plays his game they can be a tough team. Carlisle teams are very disciplined and have always played D. I think they will compete for the 7th-8th seed.

They need to find a way to get to the Line though. Calderon, Ellis and Dirk are all around 90% ft shooting for their career

I would post this every single day if possible.

The unanimous worst trade ever.

The unanimous worst trade ever.

Shouldn't we all wait to see if:
Lamb, steven Adams, whatever we do with the Dallas pick and if we end up using the trade exemption we got from the twolves

End up being any good first?

I mean right under the title of that article it read "not only did Oklahoma City destroy something beautiful, they just handed the western conference to the lakers"

Well I'm guessing they must have a ton of confidence in Lamb since they decided to not sign anybody to replace Martin in the offseason.

I'm waiting on someone to bring up "if Iverson was the same height as Durant, it would be no question" or "if Durant was just as short as Iverson, he probably would not be in the league"

:lol

Ummmmmmm.. Did everyone forget the playoffs already?

I know datz has talked ad nauseum about Kevin Martin's issues, but I thought everyone would have seen for themselves in the playoffs once Westbrook went down

:lol that would be pretty classic NT
Along those same lines...

One of my boys says that if Rose was the same size as Lebron then he would be unstoppable because of the way he attacks.
He says Lebron doesn't have the killer instinct, and if he were D.Rose's size, he would just be a serviceable PG that is good at setting up his teammates.
He says it is due to Lebron being bigger, faster, stronger, higher jumper, etc than everyone else is why he is who he is.

So in other words Lebron being a superior athlete has something to do with why he is so good at basketball.

You dont say.
