what Russ is doing is definitely impressive. And you have to obviously be very good in order to do what he's doing.

But looking at the context of the situation there's definitely multiple guys in the league who are also very good that are capable of doing it as well.

Russ had nothing to lose the second KD walked out the door. We basically expected this.

LOL no we didn't. I believe I was the only one who said he'd average near a triple double on here after KD left. And I didn't even go as far as to say he'd actually do it.

What I've learned from this MVP race is that Anthony Davis is incredibly overrated.

He was playing with the great Ryan Anderson and phenomenal Eric Gordon and could only get them into the playoffs once.

No I don't know cause he's been a stat hunter most of his career and hasn't come close.

It's literally been done ONCE in history and now everybody and their mama can do it.

KD? Really man!?
Dude, 1 year ago you could ask 100% of the posters in this thread if anybody would EVER AGAIN average a triple double, and 100% would have said In OH, NO.

Today though, it's so easy a Caveman could do it.

Idk what people said about how possible it was before this season. But once KD left I sure as hell knew he was gonna pursue it. He was doing it all last year and wasnt that far off.

What? EG missed 36% of the games available to be played in NO. Not to mention he never wanted to be there.

I felt Russ had it in him. Especially after KD left.

Scoring 100 in a game is the GOAT NBA record.

nah you're pretty sensitive for a 30 year old
got russ meat all down ya throat
the way you say I act about Bron is how you actually act for Russ. :lol

Who's being sensitive though. I'll leave it to you with the meats down the throat I'm good.

You just outchea spitting blatant falsehoods talking about Bron doesn't stat hunt.

I said he doesn't stat hunt to the degree Russ does... every player stat hunts lol

:lol yall make it sound so easy

draymond green is barely averaging 10 points a game why's he coming up in this conversation..russ is averaging 32

Dray is averaging 10, 8 and 7. You're meaning to tell me he can't average a triple double if he wants to?

C'mon now :lol

They played in a different system down in New Orleans

I didn't think there was any way he could get 10 assists a game with that roster.

The separating out the triple double games for win loss purposes is something that seems crazy to me. Why shouldn't we just do that with everyone else, just pick and choose the games we want to use to judge them off.

I feel like everything that could be said about this has been though. We'll see in May.

We gonna pretend like AD didn't drag a horrible New Orleans team to the playoffs, as recently as 2015?

The same time a Russ led OKC team (KD hurt) finished 9th behind AD....and missed the playoffs 8o

Alvin gentry runs the exact same system as pringles.

Matter of fact he's a Pringle disciple.

There's a huge difference between 8 boards over the course of a season or 7 assists and 10 a season.

That's 164 more boards. And 256 more assists.

Y'all have got to be tripping.

The funniest thing has been KD can do it. Dude has a career high average of 5.5 assists.

Yea and that year some people were saying he was the Best in the World, but to start the Season they wouldn't let JD or CP (whoever was making the top 3-5 argument) put him in the top5 without going crazy.

I mean we saw what Russ did for that stretch of the year when KD was hurt
This really isn't surprising lol
