and i'm in agreeance that Lebron can average a triple double if he wanted, but it would not be to the benefit of his team. We're talking about the same guy who notes his Fg% percentage after games, if he didn't feel averaging a triple double would hurt his team in the long run, he would absolutely attempt to do so.

That is why Russ averaging a triple double has been so impressive to me, he HAS to play at that level for them to make the playoffs. this isn't novelty stats, this is the most i've seen a team rely on one player to win since those after shaq Kobe teams. he doesn't get them & they lose A lot, he does get them & they win A lot. there's nothing empty about these stats.

I don't believe so.....I think if Russ scaled the rebound hunting, crashing the offensejve glass all Brazy and cut down on the turnovers when he's trying to force an assist....it would make his team better...and him more effiecent and a better player.

Russ averaging 27/9/7 while doing those things is more impressive to me. I see how he could obviously improve his game with a few tweaks that would sacrifice his numbers a small bit.

He won't do it though.....because, STATS!

:lol

Great player

Hitting a game winning shot

That resulted in the tie breaker....that got his team in the playoffs over the other team.....is now:

"Lucky"....got it.

it was an
anthony Davis double pump three point shot with Two defenders in his face, that ain't exactly a shot that he takes or makes much :lol

This has no basis especially with this roster. The proof is in the pudding. He averages 27/9/7 they fighting with the Lakers and Nets for the top spot in the lottery.

Russ is in a lose lose situation. If he didn't average a triple double they would probably be in last place. His team is trash. Now that he averages a TD and has them in the playoffs it's whatever.

You'd be surprised what trusting your teammates....and not gambling like a mad man for rebounds and steals will do for your teamates.

that's a fair assumption, i don't agree but it's not an outlandish statement. At the end of the day every player is built differently and slowing down and looking to be the most efficient isn't what has gotten russ to this level.

I don't think slowing down with his current set of teammates makes anything easier on him or his teammates.

Amin just said if he averages a triple double he gets his MVP vote as well. And if he doesn't it goes to Kawhi or Harden [emoji]129300[/emoji].

if he actually played defense his rebounding numbers would come down for sure
if he let his teammates actually operate instead of getting the ball back instantly if they aren't in a scoring position, then his turnovers would drop and so would his assists.

No...  He gets lots of credit, he's just not the MVP.  I have no idea what people are talking about with "last place"  This team always looked like a 6-8 seed before the season started.  Not even close to a last place roster, just not a contender.

Wasn't last place but there were plenty of people saying they'd miss the playoffs. They lost Ibaka as well.

Wait this is real!? I thought it was satire. [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

this is real life bro. house got popped while they were at the game last night.

The family home of LaVar Ball -- and his 3 superstar sons -- was hit by burglars in Chino Hills Tuesday night while LiAngelo and LaMelo were playing in a televised high school playoff game.

TMZ Sports has learned ... neighbors heard a suspicious crash sound at the Ball home around 8 PM and immediately called police.

We're told cops raced to the scene and when they got there, they saw a pile of Ball family belongings in the center of the home ... as if they'd been rounded up.

We're told cops are on the case ... taking fingerprints and looking for surveillance video. At one point, cops even used a helicopter to search for the suspects.

ghetto bird and forensics for a B & E?
