That Steph Curry "hides on defense" has to be the dumbest narrative that people continue to stick their heads in the sand with. That and "he's not an all around player".

but he's not bad though. It's just not his greatest strength. He doesnt back down though and he doesnt give up on possessions. The effort is there on defense even is the natural skill is not.

if he's bad, then every pg outside of CP3 - Wall - Beverly are bad then. Literally all of them.

Based on how Kawhi was used on defense in the last 1.5 seasons, he should never win DPOY ever again.

Kawhi is a lockdown defender when he has been giving max effort on D. But now that his offensive workload has increased, he is almost never guarding the opponents best player. He is constantly guarding secondary players so he can rest a little more.

This isnt a slight on Kawhi. He is one of the best defenders in this league. But he is no longer able to showcase it. He plays off of his opponents best player routinely.

I personally think Harden is the toughest player in the league to gameplan for. It's unfortunate that he's had his playoff blunders, but he's as talented as anyone in the league.

Easier said than done, but the Spurs may have figured Harden out.

Outside of him getting kidnapped in game 6, he got what he wanted against SAS. He was at 27/10 and that's with his 3 ball being awful.
