What objective proof do you have of this?

Chris Paul was making 4 mil a year in endorsements his last year in New Orleans. He was at 8.5 last year with the Clippers.

Melo was at 5-6 million his last year in Denver. He has been at 8 in New York.

He's paying 13.3% state taxes in California versus 0 in Texas.

Couple that with New Orleans being a tourist city opposed to a corporate hub and he can probably bring home more money in Houston than LA. See Dwight

Which speaks to the overall point that being in LA is irrelevant financially.

You will lead Sportscenter more but as far as actual money? Nah

teams are getting $80M per season in tv revenue? Or somewhere around there? Except the Lakers, who get $150M from TW?

You gotta be in cahoots with one of the 2000 or so people on the planet who call themselves billionaires or you're living life wrong :smokin

my sarcasm meter was off. I really was thinking perhaps it really isn't a lot of money for these teams.

A billion doesn't even put you in the 1% on this earth though, I see people with that much everyday.

The taxes a NBA player pays in California negates any increased endorsement opportunities vs playing in a smaller market.

Chris Paul is proof of that.

Chris Paul is proof of that.

So you're saying Chris Paul made more in New Orleans than he did LA? Cause nobody said anything about Houston.

Darryl Morrey with a jab at Dwight Howard? When talking about Chris Paul for free agency next year: We have never lost a superstar in Houston, people fight to play here.
yeah ok

his best players were traded there

signing DH, Ryan Anderson and eric Gordon dont mean anything.

dude over paid to get their fragile butts there.
