Whenever any other player switches to Klutch, Lakers fans wanna claim that means he’s coming to LA. Why aren’t they claiming Draymond?

And yea, @sohi 23 disappearance has been disappointing. He told me to keep the same energy at the end of the season :smh:

Can you blame him? Mans was talking all that noise and his boy ended up being a false prophet.

Having worked in schools for a decade... In white communities, black communities, hispanic communities, etc...

I can tell you from my experience, that kinda **** is not normal today in most communities... It happens... But that kinda conversation ain't happening in the average household.
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACTS

i used to work at an elementary and middle school too and never saw that ish :lol
kids' parents weren't even at the games 85% of the time lol

Never, ever, ever.

I would literally beg parents to talk to their kids and prop them up this way - academics, athletics, social life, whatever. I can tell them this kinda **** all day, but it's just not the same.

And all of them looked at me sideways because at that point, I wasn't a parent - and in their eyes, I just didn't get it.

Meth gonna come in and Khufusmack him if he keeps doing this.

yeah it's hard man
most from what i seen the parents is scressed and too busy trying to make ends meet.

maybe it just the schools we were at and the area or something but at least where i'm from i haven't seen many parent-child interactions like that

Man, I worked in the worst and nicest parts of DFW, and it's all the same. It's always either no attention or the wrong kind of attention.

Too many people think it's easier to pass the buck onto a teacher or coach that makes $45k a year to raise their child.

It's ultimately why I bolted. Just couldn't handle it.

I see that the non black fans think that they run this site. They think that you should discuss what they want to discuss, and then how.

Since this is the NBA thread, I am going to talk about how and why the Black athlete saved professional sports. In this case, saved the NBA.
It started with this man, who was un apologetically Black.

How Dr. J Blackified Pro Ball, Found Himself, And Stayed Eternally Cool

I went for a ride through downtown Philadelphia with Julius Erving in his Maserati the other day, and with each passing block it became more apparent: Julius cannot drive very well. It wasn't a question of reckless speed or ignored signals. Rather, he seemed unsure, tentative. His huge, famous hands clutched the steering wheel a bit too tightly, his large head craned uncomfortably toward the slope of the windshield. He accelerated with a lurch; there was no smooth rush of power. Obvious openings in the flow of traffic went unseen or untried. All in all, it reflected a total absence of feel.

This struck me as amusing—Julius Erving, the fabulous Doctor of the court, driving a Maserati with an automatic transmission.
