Would think Zion's game comes closer to replicating Julius' as opposed Zion being a replacement for AD.

AD is almost like a unicorn in today's NBA.

Will Zion pan out like AD, who knows? But for now it's intended for him to be Ad's replacement...as in the team will build around Zion. Still need to fill out the hole of Randle going to free agency. Lakers trade gave Pels no bigs in return.

Bill Simmons’ podcast was hilarious this morning. I’m a neutral fan in this but dude was so clearly mad about this trade. Calling it the worst trade ever for a superstar. You could practically see the sweat pouring down his face.

Going to Spotify to listen after First Take

Hope he stays, he's a good fit as a vet in locker room. If he ring chases, wouldn't be mad at him though.

Al Horford could remain with the Boston Celtics even if he declines his $30.1 million player option for 2019-20.

According to Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald, "the sides have been discussing a plan where he comes in at a lower number next season and gets two more years tacked on in a new deal."

Horford initially signed a four-year, $113 million contract in 2016 and made $28.9 million this past season, but it's unlikely he matches this type of deal if he hits the open market. The 33-year-old is coming off an up-and-down season in 2018-19, averaging 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, plus a career-low 29 minutes per game.

Such an embarrassment to the fanbase. Dude will ALWAYS revel in the moment when the Celtics won a lot in his childhood.

When Shaun Livingston gets waived in two weeks. Can warriors sign somebody else with that 20m+ then go over the cap to sign Klay thompson?
