For those saying the Josh Gattis smashed Xavier Worthy’s mom rumor was true.

Sam mentioned on WTKA that he was insulted by Michigan’s contract offer, and dipped.

All signs were pointing to him being the him guy to replace Jim had he left, the Hart hype was just from probably the vocal Carr contingent that is still around the program.

I believe that coming off of winning the Broyles. But it’s def interesting to me how quickly people ran with the rumor of him smashing a recruit’s mom. Never seen that for a white coach that I can remember — especially on this level and without any real evidence at all.

They're gonna go through all of this - drag him through the mud, broadcast to the world they don't want him there, dig into EVERY FACET of his program looking for one single reason to fire him for cause - and then say "oh yeah you know what we couldn't find a way to save money so you're our guy!"

Only to fire him next offseason when they go 5-7 or 4-8.

Morons.

Exactly. It's the worst possible dumpster fire. Everyone knows that Harsin is a dead man walking and the only reason he is retaining his job is because the boosters don't want to pay his buyout. He's already not a very good recruiter who's unfamiliar with the South and now his university has blasted him in front of the whole country, who's going to want to play for the guy?

Which OC or DC is going to want to attach themselves to a coach who will inevitably be fired at the end of this year?

Even next year, which qualified candidate is going to want to work under those conditions in Auburn? Unless you win big immediately. Your own boosters will dig up dirt and try to get you fired. No wonder so many coaches turn down the job to cycle.

I see Auburn going 6-6 again next year with a couple of embarrassing losses (they have Georgia and Alabama on the road)

Honestly if I was Harsin I’d see if I could at least get half of that buyout, and I’d chill this season as an an analyst somewhere.

This is likely Harsin's last big time gig for awhile so he should make them fire him and get all that buyout money.

Georgia Tech literally looking for coaches on Indeed 🤣

Man these postings are more for formalities than anything. But Jokes > Facts
Lol schools have to post those jobs publicly before settling on the candidate who back channeled his way in. GT is more academically oriented than most FBS schools so I would bet there's a requirement as to the number and type of places they have to post the jobs first. Think of it like the rooney rule in the nfl. UGA is a public school so they 100% do the same thing. Probably have listings on their school website.
