Jimmy Butler and Kawhi need to teach a master class on how to avoid slander. Kawhi had a good game last night, but it seems like he gets credit for wins but never catches the heat for losses.

Not talking about anybody on here specifically, just talking about in the media.

I'd add Dame to this list as well. And of course, CP3

Rondo only played 19 minutes? Why?

The jokes that come their way if they get swept  Bahlmer still going to give Kawhi the max and PG extensions has kicked in either:smh:

this franchise stays being a mess in some ways.

There is about 55% truth to this statement. Of course, the players are the ones who are out there playing and doing the tangible work to get a title.

But the people running the team also have an impact as well. As a beaten and battered Knicks fan, I can attest, poorly run organizations usually do not win or have a track record for success. It really all starts from the top.

But that's just my opinion. I'm sure some people here will say the players have much more of an impact on the outcome of success.

Generational talents going to elevate any franchise. Of course you need stability and smart people making choices.

Mavs were cashing out guys too late for years. Striking out on everyone. Then Luka fell to them. Donnie didn’t get smarter, he got lucky.

The heat housed Klutch they'll be aite with Kawhi's uncle

Kawhi is a beast but he’s not early 2010s Lebron.
You let a little more slide when dealing with Bron.

Riley should be bending over backwards to do whatever Dennis says though I agree :lol

I thought Beasley was going to be star. I understand taking him #2. But I’m pointing out that the heat like every organization has missed on some picks. they took Winslow over Booker too

Players win titles. You can have the best body fat testing ever but that doesn’t matter if Wade can’t play. And it really doesn’t matter if Wade isn’t BFFs with Bron.

Eye am not trying to see Kawhi jump ship when he built the ship, picked the captain and the crew. That’s it

Of course players win titles. Especially in the NBA but to act like there's not a difference in how organizations are ran and the culture, the environment don't matter that's crazy. :lol

We've heard plenty of interviews where players talk about playing for one franchise compared to another.

again. Organizations matter but the best ship doesn’t run if you don’t have a super star behind it. Like I said about the Mavs. They got every ex star toes in the sand and couldn’t move the needle for years. Dudes tried to kidnap Deandre Jordan. They get Luka and all of a sudden they got the glow. And even still we might strike out in free agency.

all the heat culture stuff got them boys on the ropes is what I’m saying.

You mean he's not a top 2 player of all time?

That's one example, but if you're going to go that route, you also need to talk about the time's when organizations had an impact doing it right and NOT just got lucky. Like the GS Warriors or the early days Thunder.

Hell, even look at built superteams. You think the players got together, looked at Hoopshype and formulated their way to forming super teams? Team executives need to not only have the vision, but creativity to pull off **** like that.

Look, I get it. It's a players driven league, and they ARE the product we see. But to say organizations don't have an impact of the success of a team would be shortsighted.

My point was that is that you let **** slide when it’s peak bron. Not sure how cool the heat would be with Kawhi taking days off all the time and Uncle Dennis asking for equity in the team.

Golden state absolutely got lucky. Drafting Steph and Klay absolutely worked and they won. Steph’s bum ankles got him that bad deal which allowed them money to sign KD years later. It was some luck involved. And what did they do this year, drafted a project after Klay went down.

The bulls been trash since MJ left because Krause thought franchises made the players.

it works both ways.

OK, fine. Let's see you do the same thing with the Spurs now.

I'll wait

Of course, It goes both ways. That's why I said your statement was 55% true. IDGI with NT. Y'all don't know how to read or have effective conversations without thinking it's always a superlative? Again, where did some of y'all go to school? LOL

David Robinson gets hurt putting them in a position to draft Tim Duncan. Then they hit on dart throws in Manu & Tony Parker. Then hit on the Kawhi draft night trade.

Spurs Culture is...drafting franchise changing talent with late round picks?

All of them are now gone & they're stuck in purgatory.

gang gang. I still watch laker games. I don’t like them though.

I went to Iowa state for free :pimp:

Spurs went from the smartest people in the room for years to pissing off Kawhi to trying to avoid the inevitable rebuild. It all comes down to having the right players
