If that teal was a slightly darker blue, you could have easily mistaken that as a customized UNC 1

You're right, especially with the shade of the UNCs being much closer to the 70-80s era Carolina blue..much more towards teal back then, extremely different color today

welp, just pulled the trigger on a pair of '13 royals from sole supremacy. didn't wanna pay that, but at least i know they're real. already got got a couple years ago with a fake pair . will cop '17s, but i felt like i needed a pair of '13s as well and with them seemingly all but dried up in ds condition i figured i'd jump now. although i'm sure deals will be had closer to rd, but i didn't feel like waiting any longer...

609 shipped. steep, i know, but that's the cheapest i could find online for a ds guaranteed authentic pair. rifLA had put a pair up on their site for 575. came out to like 590, but i took too long contemplating and when i finally went to checkout someone had bought them so i figured another 20 wouldn't do much more damage to the wallet than i was already doing.

another reason i jumped is bc at the end of the day im one of the few who actually likes '13 breds more than '16. so i figure it may be the same with royals. overall, just glad i'll finally have them.

true, and i def. realized that. i'm a 10.5 and in that size on the bay for instance, most worn pairs are listed for more than what i paid and half of them are fakes.
