do you consider the the patent leather 1s that came out in 2003-4 to be not true mids either? I dont know about lace holes but I remember them being around the same height

If I remember correctly those are mids based on the mold but I could be wrong. I was never big into the Patent joints

EDIT: Yup just checked. Those only have 8 holes and are missing the hole right below the top two specifically. Thats why mids are always tough for me cuz that tends to be wear I lace my ones to haha.

Only y'all get bent outta shape over tags. Ppl obviously buy them if they keep releasing them. Just because some of y'all hate the jumpman or it doesn't "make sense" to y'all doesn't mean everybody cares. One of my favorite pairs are the '09 shadows. The jumpman doesn't bother me one bit. They got way more wears than my N/A pair.

To me, the Jumpman looks out of place on the back. I understand before 2013 (excluding the 2001 versions) the Jumpman on 1s was all there was. I guess we've been spoiled with the Nike Air on them now we look down on the Jumpman 1s.
