great job man. I think I'm gonna do the same. what did you use to strip/prep the back heel panel and did you use the regular angelus red?

also any tips on removing the "blood lines" without cutting into the leather behind it?

Regular angelus red. Exacto knife for the red piping. Just be careful on the leather, I scored the white leather in some areas but went over it with paint.
Nice work! How did you do the Wings logo? I remember years ago in the Laser 1 thread people would use extremely fine brushes or even toothpicks to color the Wings logo haha
Fine paint brush. Use a toothpick to scratch off any red that got over the glossy black. Since it’s a glossy black, the paint doesn’t exactly adhere and can be easily removed.

I was on the fence with them :ohwell:

got early access and said why not. if i dont like them i’ll just return them

This. Nike for as much as it sucks with releases like this, its still alot smoother than most other online buying experiences (I'm not trying to watch a stick figure walk across my screen tf is that?) and the return process is as easy as it gets. alot of other places wont even bother to try to refund you.

Not that bad? Even at 98 basically all sizes remain even the smalls. Definitely not desirable....

Sure but these shoes not selling out does not mean they’re the worst Jordan 1s ever lol

2001 Royal 1s we’re HEAVILY discounted back in the day and nobody would consider those trash nowadays.

Got the opportunity to sell my twice worn 2013 Chicago's for $530 and pick up a very lightly worn pair of 2015's for $790. What do you all reckon?
This makes no sense to me, just keep your shoes, why would spend more money on something you already have, unless in those two wears you beat the hell out of them..., but you do you playa..............>D

Just pains me to not have a proper OG retro of them. The leather on the 2013's is so stiff and the Jumpman on the tongue and on the heel bugs the hell out of me but I can see why it sounds a bit crazy. Just don't wanna spend that $250 extra just for them to retro the Chicagos with this new OG mould next year :emoji_grimacing:

Selling the 2013 pair is a no brainer but I would have a hard time paying $790 for worn shoes. Though, if you look at it like you’re only paying $260 in an upgrade and if you can’t live without the 2015s.... I say F it

Yeah trying to convince myself that $260 for a pair of the 2015's in the same condition as my 2013's is not too bad under the current circumstances. Does make me wince when I think about the $790 for a pair of worn shoes though. Wish Jordan Brand would just come out and give us a yes or no on whether there's gonna be a retro any time soon.

Based on the current trends, they will come back out again, those are like the AF1's of Jordans, but I would have a big issue with spending that on a used pair of shoes, hell I'm not spending that on a new pair.......lol !
