Afraid to look at my royals but I've noticed worn pairs don't glitter as much so hopefully their good

Flew back home after 6 months of being overseas, checked my worn pair of royals and it was glitter galore, my DS no sign of glitter.

Kept mine out of the box and on a rack. Bay weather, so it’s not crazy humid if that has anything to do with it. Haven’t had an issue with glitter on Royals or any of my 1’s so far.
2017’s
Only issue I have with my pair that bugs me is that the blue leather on my right shoe is a bit more tumbled than the left.
I prefer the 2013 version’s shape and shade of blue
