Pulled the trigger and bought a new grill this past weekend, should be getting delivered on Friday.

I had my eye on this one for most of the summer but wasn't paying that retail price. I saw it dropped $200 in Lowes last week and jumped on it. I probably could have squeezed another year out of my grill, but the fact it didn't lite every time all the time was annoying and potentially dangerous. I liked that it had the two different halves and also the fact it has shelves on one side underneath. My current grill is just open and no place to store utensils when not using them.

Well, whats the first thing I should do with this puppy? Any tips?

Welcome to the pellet grill family, lol. Unless you had one of these before I would do ribs. Easiest first smoke to get to know the grill and how it works, if you have any hot zones, etc.
 
I sort of like the crispness you get from a splayed open sausage - but you also lose all the moisture as soon as you cut them so I think they’re better left alone until they’re done.
