Now that's impressive!!...

Anybody else notice, but Watson seems to be clueless?!? when playing?

Now they need to find a way to improve this team via trade maybe another big man or 2 guard? (JR Smith?)

if he had his mind right he could be a nice piece to this team, but i just dont trust him! i dont want him to ruin the dynamic of the team.
I would have loved to see the bulls go after Terrence williams! i think he would have been perfect for this team.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Bulls center Joakim Noah is dealing with bruised tendons in his right hand and they can't heal because it keeps getting hit.

The team has reportedly discussed the possibility of not playing Noah, but as of Tuesday he was expected to be in the lineup on Wednesday when the Bulls travel to Toronto.

The Bulls could start Kurt Thomas, Omer Asik, or maybe even Taj Gibson at center, if Noah needs a night off.

What ya'll think about them rumors involving JR Smith coming to the Bulls?

I'll take it... Its definitely an upgrade at the 2. If he can get his head on straight then its a helluva move, and considering that we don't have to many if any distractors he should be able to... Yes it'll be a helluva upgrade.  But who are they talking about sending?

Haven't said. Only thing they saying is we in talks with Denver about him...

im for it if he buys into our system...i think ourr team is close knit enough to bounce a detractor..the guy has mega talent and heats it up often

I'd only do it if they're taking a pick or two and some of our trash like bogans and watson. Maybe james johnson is part of the deal? young player who needs an opportunity and maybe they are too stupid to see what we see.

I'm with curtis though, I like terrance williams game. However, not seeing nets game I can't tell if he's just as silly a pro as JR smith.

Think Gar or Pax are ready for the ridicule they'll get if they trade for a player that they outright released?

With all the people becoming available aren't their better options than JR Smith also?

I read on CBS last week that Portland was shopping everybody to see what the market was like.

Supposedly no interest in BRoy due to his contract and knee issues. I'm not sure how we can make the money work, but i'll take a gimpy BRoy over what we have now.

I'm a huge fan of BRoy, but his knees are done. He re-signed recently and I don't want to pay for a player who might not be in the league. On the other hand, Rip Hamilton would be a good fit. Thoughts?

Ron Harper was a stud with the Cavs and Clippers and when his knees were done he still got it done with the Bulls. I know the money makes the situation different, especially with a new CBA coming up. I still think he'd knock down shots D Rose sends to him. He has a J and as long as his knees hold up long enough for him to play D I'm good.

Rip has a lot of miles. A lot of miles. I mean what you giving up for him to back up Deng? Does that really solve our problems?

The only thing this team needs is a 2 guard that can play D and make other teams respect him OR an upgrade at the 3, but we know that Melo thing ain't happening. Would love to see Iggy for Deng happen. My goodness, the oops from Poo...

Even if BRoy comes in the form of a gift? Portland just wanting to dump his money somehow?

I still think we need to think bigger picture. I wouldn't mind if all those names were involved in a three way deal that brings us an upgrade to our starting lineup.

btw, glad there's some good discussion to be had on a wed afternoon as i've been bumming all day, lol.

We've been trying to dump Lu's salary for two years and noone wants to take it off our hands why should we be the land field???

I love Brandon but nah I'm not with that.

Depends on what you consider a gift.  Broy, knee or no knee would def be an upgrade over Bogans but at what expense?

Strictly talent wise Broy is def an upgrade over Bogans.

But we'd probably risk messing up our core to get him.  Portland will probably ask for too much.  His knee is an issue.  Also Broy is a very ball dominant 2.  He has the ball as much as a 1.  The ball needs to stay in Drose's hands.

Ok, I can see the argument. However, when I say gift I'm thinking bogans, JJ and a couple 1's. although I doubt the money works in that deal.

To continue my portland obsession why not go after Rudy if your considering JR?

JR has an expiring contract and he has no health issues.  And while he has headcase issues he has shown he can play off the ball more than Brandon Roy.

Of the three I like JR the best.  He's the youngest, the healthiest, plus that contract is a great bonus.  If the nuggets will accept an offer of JJ plus Bogans I'd take it.

At worst if the experiment fails we will free up some money for next year; we can start Brewer at the 2 and have Korver play more minutes off the bench.

I like that reasoning, but how does JR mesh with this team? The reason Pax didn't want him the first time is that he may be a bad personality to have around a bunch of serious ball players. Notice I didn't say the tired old, developing young players. I just don't see D Rose or Noah putting up with his crap when he starts doing his thing. Although Bogans is probably the same type of player, just less talented.

JR hasn't shown anything to me during his time in the league that makes me believe he will straighten up or contribute consistently to a playoff team. I mean look at him with the nuggets who were a threat in the west for the past few years.

Expiring contracts aren't the big thing they used to be. With the new CBA no one knows how any of this will work out, plus what free agents will there be for the bulls to go after? Paul and Melo are the top players and they are going to NY if anything. Plus Paul makes no sense here. What's the money for? Yao to come back up Noah? No thanks. There is nothing in free agency for the bulls. I'd rather see them take on salary for the chance to make this team a threat this season. You can't play for next year anymore. Rose's game is so based on athleticism that you don't know how long his career will be or how long he can be this good. You don't want to waste his mvp years building towards anything.

TORONTO -- Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah is expected to play Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors despite ongoing issues with his right hand.

The Bulls are concerned there may be ligament damage in his right thumb, according to sources familiar with the situation. Bulls general manager Gar Forman told ESPNChicago.com before Wednesday morning's shootaround that the Bulls are still evaluating the situation and Noah will be re-examined once he returns to Chicago on Thursday.

If an examination reveals the need for surgery, he would most likely be out a minimum of eight weeks.

When asked Wednesday about his thumb, Noah responded: "We're still evaluating to see what's wrong with it."

When asked specifically if there was any structural damage, Noah said: "I'm not sure yet. We'll find out [Wednesday night]."

Noah originally hurt the thumb in a 96-85 win over the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 27. After the game he began wearing a taped wrap over it, but he tweaked it again Dec. 4 in a 119-116 win over the Houston Rockets.

"He's got a couple things going on," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "Basically all the big guys in the league go through this where their hands are constantly being raked, and it's hard to recover from it because it continues to happen when you're rebounding the ball or you're going for a shot and they're trying to strip. His shooting hand is nicked up."

Derrick Rose is expected to play against the Raptors after spraining his right hand against the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

"If [Rose and Noah] go through shootaround and there aren't any problems, they play," Thibodeau said. "If they go through shootaround and there are problems then they sit. If that's the case then the next guy steps up and he does the job. "

Noah signed a five-year extension worth close to $60 million before the season. If he misses an extended period of time it would be a big blow to the Bulls, who go into Wednesday's game atop the Central Division with a 15-8 record.

Noah is averaging 14 points and 12 rebounds.

You gotta be kidding me
