I would love to see this result in a fusion. The earrings are in play so bring back Vegito, and its not like they can't diffuse afterwards because.... Its already happened twice to Potara Fusion users.
Or just use Fusion Dance and make Gogeta canon.

Vegeta was back to his old ways this episode. 
the true hero of the series, Yajirobe, is still alive. He's sure to defeat both Black and Zamatsu by himself once the three stooges get rinsed.
In all seriousness though, it looks like Zamatsu might have seperated himself from his evil form or something like what Kame did when he became guardian of earth way back when. I'm just speculating at this point.

Yes, vegeta got stabbed and it ended with goku on his a**.
Vegetas not dead, even if this is the goku show I find it hard to believe vegetas only roll in this entire fight is to lay on the ground. So we'll see what happens in the coming episodes
