Actually it doesn't even stick with you for that long. Goku himself describes it as something that lasts for the span of a heartbeat. You see during the battle with Vegeta, and to some extent with he faces both Captain Ginyu and Frieza, that he's only able to use it for brief bursts, after which he has to continually activate it again. The user can continue to activate it, with more and more strain being placed on the body as he does so. The strain on the body is why it was eventually phased out of Goku's arsenal once the Super Saiyan forms presented itself.

 
i think the difference i have with alot of people is they look at kaioken in the same way that they look at transformations like the super saiyan forms and i dont. kaioken even translates into "Fist of the King of Worlds" which i think emphasizes that its a technique and not a transformation or form. transformations allow characters to tap into greater portions of their OWN power and potential. the kaioken boost isnt tapping in to anyones potential. it forcibly amplifies a user's ki to a point theyre not capable of on their own and completely ignores potential or what the bodies capable of.

This and also in the game it runs out as well while transformations stay active (except in the Budokai and Xenoverse series)

Really? I don't mind either, but thought that the Bojack film could have used better fighting. Same with the Janemba film. Goku vs Janemba in his first form was fine, but after that it quickly became a stomp and continued when Vegeta entered the picture. Then when they fused it was a stomp in the other direction.

EDIT: Just read Dragon Ball Super's new chapter and it reminded me of a thought I had back when the anime arc was starting. If SS2 Future Trunks was almost able to equal the power of Current SS3 Goku, then it's probably a safe bet that he would have been able to take SS3 Goku back during the Buu Saga. I say this because Goku has gone through a massive surge in power since, not only from training with Whis, but from attaining Super Saiyan God, which enhanced all his forms below it as well.

I liked them because it showed goku using SS3 for a longer duration than normal. Such a dope and powerful form and then Gogeta. The creativity was real good with the drawings. It definitely could have been better but just those two mentioned, gave me enough excitement.

For Bojack, i agree with you. But the whole scene with bojack and his crew demolishing the guys into unconsciousness, i really felt that. Caught feelings for sure ans then Gohan became a savage.

Im gonna watch the others all over again. Too dope

Just another **** up by Toei that shows they give no dambs about the source material.

Let's just revisit how Trunks appeared when he murked Cell (which was years before Black showed up). This was three years after he killed 17 and 18, and in the SAME CHAPTER no less, but Toriyama explicitly drew him as older looking.

When he first came back and fought 17/18:
