OFFICIAL FOOTY THREAD ⚽️: Spain wins 2024 Euro Cup and Argentina wins the Copa America

Citeh’s endless funds means they can buy Mangala and Bravo, not have it work out, and then immediately buy their replacements who cost the same if not more. They not playing the same game.

Was about to write more but rolaholic rolaholic beat me to it

meh. rich premier league clubs complaining about not having enough money is dumb.

united have made dumb signing after dumb signing and mad cause city replaced mangala
liverpool paid 100 on darwin nunez and are crying about akanji and ake.

y’all can stop crying now. pep running train on that one horse league just making y’all look sad and weak. y’all just sold yall’s club to the wrong billionaire. stop twerking for american owners

Would be a huge shock man damn, they're set up nicely for a run the next few years. Continuity should be what they're striving for rn

The lack of context makes it cherry picking

Their backups cost most than most teams starters , Rodri was the most expensive DM ever at the time and so was Ederson for GK's.

Main difference is also when they buy, they can afford to take their time with them or replace guys immediately if it doesn't work out while a lot of these other clubs are stuck for years with the same guys.

Even Grealish was able to be eased in slowly despite being the most expensive PL player ever, that's not the case anywhere else.

What he's saying sounds nice but they have a massive advantage in terms of recruitment when you actually look into it further. Only 1 other club in the world could've afforded Haalands wages + 3rd party/agent fees (about 200M) even with his low release clause at BVB, that's P$G.
They aren't even catching these players when they are in the early stages of their careers. They get them when they burst on the scene. City also offers huge contracts on top of the already inflated transfer fees. Hell, imagine signing a player like Cancelo and being able to send them around on loan and ICE them out like you aren't just throwing some big money on him. Some of these fools are clearly on the payroll.

Brother, it's too early for these unhinged rants. I hope all is well.

No one's knocking City's project like that, they were able to get the best of the best in terms of facilities and hirings at every level of the club over the last decade and a half+. They've built a legit machine. Got the best coach along with club strategy.

Just deceptive making it seem like they're on the same playing field as everyone else in the league when they objectively aren't . They've got built in structural advantages that set them completely apart in terms of rules/feasibility and how they can afford to move.

Fair play to them though, they've taken advantage of all of it to its fullest and have been reaping the rewards yearly. With a structure and level of support + limitless resources like that, why would someone like Pep ever leave?

He won't ever find what he has right now anywhere else.

…And there’s the 1-3
At this point I just have to laugh
At least we’re good on Fifa

Feels like a pretty typical Spurs game.. Harry Kane scores an incredible goal and the rest of the team lets him down.
