They aren't even catching these players when they are in the early stages of their careers. They get them when they burst on the scene. City also offers huge contracts on top of the already inflated transfer fees. Hell, imagine signing a player like Cancelo and being able to send them around on loan and ICE them out like you aren't just throwing some big money on him.
