OFFICIAL HOCKEY THREAD: NHL, KHL, NCAA, IIHL

The boys are back in town for camp this saturday.

Pretty pumped... Turris was telling me how bad Finland was and that the hockey was really boring. :smh:

Backstrom saw a concussion specialist in Michigan....but he says he's 100% and ready for the opener.

I'm so glad hockey is back. I was bitter as hell when the lockout was going on. I was on some "I won't go to any games this year steez..." I'll be copping some Caps/Pens tix as soon as the schedule is announced

Gonna be a strange year for the caps. I honestly don't know what to expect.

Those of you playing fantasy, u better hop on Holtby as your goalie.

Big ups to the Kings for this one. Some may argue its a business move, but at the end of the day alot of kids in need will benefit, so who cares.
Charities were Ronald McDonald House, Boy and Girls of America, and two I forget...

That explains the huge partnership with McDonald's announcement this week. It's a great way to introduce the game to the kids in our community.

Which reminds me, I need to hit up the Iceoplex soon. It's been a while.

whats the app?

or can you tell me if they have any home games on Jan 21 or Jan 24, 25 or 28

Not 100% confirmed, but if the leaked schedule I saw on HFBoards is right, then no home games on those dates. Schedules will be out tomorrow for all teams though.

TB - Tom Wilson was the only junior player invited to Caps camp :pimp:

Having a hell of a year in the OHL, and I have a feeling he will make his pro debut this year (either with Hershey or the Caps).

Milan Lucic Jr.

I'm still ticked he didn't drop to the Bruins. He was my favourite player in last year's draft, by far. You'll love his style of play.

Hershey, I think, is likely; though, I wouldn't be surprised if he spends some time in the show. A lot will depend on how Oates decides to coach.

The lockout is officially over. The MOU has been voted on and signed by both the PA and the league. All information, schedules, transactions, (12am) and all league operations are good to go and to be released.

Tickets go on sale Wed. Schedules are out. Camps open tmw. Games start Saturday. Lego :smokin

Jets open training camp tomorrow and it's open to the public with some free food, why do I have to work :smh:

just saw the season sched for toronto montreal and ottawa. Ottawa opens the season with Winnipeg which is their furthest west city theyre going to play. All team pretty much play everyday until March...:smh: Which will be hard for the older guys and even the young girls. The amount of stuff wrong with them during the season that the media doesnt know is crazy aka Karlsson has back problems now if he plays too much, etc.

Flyers open with the Pens next Saturday....CANT WAIT! Gonna be in the burgh rockin my orange uni at my boys house :smokin 22 National TV games as well :smokin

And the Draft this year will have all 7 rounds on June 30th too
