Glad you got the SB 1s this morning. I was in line for over half an hour just to get the oos message.

For the price hike it's nice to see that they are listening to us but it's sad that we had to pay more for ****** quality this year then we have to pay even more for the quality that we should get

I don't even know what to do about it anymore.  I love sneakers.  Always have.  They're my favorite hobby.  ...but, honestly, I'm sick of b*tching about the quality/availability issues.  It kinda "is what it is" at this point.  I wish they'd make more shoes.  That'd solve things.  ...but the hobby is built upon a false sense of exclusivity these days, and there's in-fighting within the community.  

One thing I know for sure.  When I was younger, there's no way in h*ll I would have opened a Jordan box to find a shoe with a razor slice going across the toe box...but about a month ago it happened.  I'm cool with it now, obviously, because I was able to walk away from it with a really nice SB....but that was just pure dumb luck.  This is the first time I have successfully purchased a hyped up shoe from nike.com on a Saturday morning since I don't know when.  I really don't know how to feel about picking up that Lance Mountain pair for $120 shipped.  It's almost like I'm waiting on an email that says I'm not getting the shoes anyway....

VERY nice, bro.  Wish I had been able to get my hands on the white pair, too.  I actually preferred that CW.

I missed out on the first AJ 1 SB entirely.  If I decide to keep the Lance Mountain release, I'll have to go back for that first pair...
