Anyone pay attention to the bench after the first basket was made? I was watching JD2K's highlight vid, and all the bench mobs legs were crossed and assoon as Kobe made that 1st basket was made, they all started stomping on the floor, I had to replay it couple times cause I was trippin

I guess thats the new ritual since they can't stand when the ball is in play.

SI predicts Boston to beat us in the Finals this year. And with us having homecourt too, as they picked the Celts to be the #2 seed in the East, but beatCleveland in the conference finals. Can't wait to piss off SI later this season.

I'm sure many of you have seen this quote from Portland's Nicolas Batum on defending 3/4 of the top perimeter players, but I just saw it and figuredI'd post it just in case you haven't:

It's a bit different defending against them. For LeBron, I was told "stay back and avoid letting him in the paint. It's better to let him shoot." For Kobe, it's "good luck." Wade, for me, is different, he was maybe the toughest to defend. Well, no, in fact, you can't say that he's the toughest to defend out of the three because they're the three best players in the world. It's crazy how skilled Kobe is. Wade is too quick, his lateral quickness is crazy, in a thousandth of a second he puts his right foot on the other side compared with his left foot, you don't know how he did it. And LeBron, he hits you with his shoulder and you end up in the stands. To summarize: Wade too quick, Kobe too skilled, LeBron too physical.
