I was definitely one of the folks that was critisizing the deals they made this past off season, especially the Asik deal. I still think that deal was ridiculous, but seeing them primed to make a go at any player for the next two offseasons, you cant deny that this was a series of great deals overall. I dont think Dwight is going anywhere and I sure as hell wouldnt give Josh Smith max money, but they can easily go after some other players. Who knows maybe LeBron will go to Houston in 2014.
Yeah I said it LeBron to Houston in 2014

"Kobe Bryant would kill you tonight if it guaranteed him another championship"

:lol :lol :lol sig worthy

Thanks Pmatic, very good read...Like I said, if Houston learns to clamp down on defence (which will come), we'll be a top 4 team in the west..

A part of me would like to see the Rockets add Josh Smith to improve their defense, but then I think about all the jump shots he would miss. Plus with Donatas Montiejunas, Thomas Robinson, Terrence Jones and Royce White (:lol) it would be a waste of resources going forward.

Also keep an eye on the second round draft pick they got from the Suns in the Marcus Morris trade. They'll probably draft another steal and sign him for dirt cheap like they did with Chase Budinger and Chandler Parsons.

Houston isn't winning a damb thing
maybe not this year, or next year, but we sure are getting better considering the fact that everything had to be rebuilt..not to mention we are on our way to making the playoffs...least inexperienced team..completely revamped roster...taking a chance on Harden, who some say wasn't worth 80 million...just a couple pieces away, and we will contend...

It's crazy..Morey's ability to spot gems in the first round (late)/second round is uncanny...I'd like to see him draft a backup center

Idk how ppl call shaq the most dominant...

Wilt is the definition of dominant....dudes numbers are crazy
Meh...

After reading Bill Simmons' take on Wilt from his Book of Basketball, it really put things in perspective for me. Maybe "meh" isn't the right word to use, but Wilt's stats were somewhat skewed due to his gameday approach.
did you also take into account he was down playing wilt so he could hype up Russell even more?
