Looking back, I'm glad to have been honored to see Kobe play at Arco and Staples Center a handful of times, more than most Lakers fans

What the hell do the lakers do if/when the MRI confirms what pretty much is assumed..

Just saw this on twitter:
“@IanKenyonNFL: Lakers have a tough decision. Kobe has 1 year, $24 mil on his contract and they're deep into the luxury tax. They'll probably amnesty him”

And just looked it up, it's actually 1 year 30,453,000

Recovery time is 6 months. Get surgery a month or two & that puts him somewhere around December.

With good rehab he can return next year after the all star break.

gotta remember he is 34 and has tons of miles on his body. isiah's career basically ended with that injury

Gotta remember that he doesn't care about that  he'll make every effort to return next season. So, they won't amnesty him.

Whether he can return to superstar production is another discussion

no doubt that he will return and suit up once more, but it aint the same. kobe on the court being "just another" player :smh:

man honestly if nash would actually play, kobe going down wouldnt be that bad but everytime this dude nash gets on the floor he breaks down...smh cant stay out there for long periods of time...

we have NO ball handlers going into the last two games...

nash and kobe were our primary ball handlers. we dont have odom. management didnt sign dolonte.

we are stuck with blake and duhon :x some of the worst ball handlers at the point guard position...

We are DONE

This! Yall keep forgetting who we are discussing. Dude will go buy a prosthetic n play on that joint just to come back

No matter how dire their cap situation is, no way in hell the Lakers amnesty Kobe.

How much will LA have to pay in luxury tax if they don't amnesty Kobe AND resign Dwight to the max?

They can amnesty him in the summer and he would be able to sign the season after. this is if he will miss the entire season next year. Will it happen? probably not but its an option

and LULZ at Kobe ring chasing, he will NEVER sign with Lebron or KD
