Speaking of the Wolves, if Lavine was healthy, I think the trade still happens but Wiggins is traded, not Lavine

Lavine has that it factor and knows when to step up and get buckets

Referencing one series to make your point that Steph > KD doesn't make any sense. GSW was up 3-1 in the finals the SAME year and Steph came up lame. The previous year when they won against LeBron and the Cavs reserves, Curry didn't even win finals MVP. The year they won WITH KD, Curry didn't win finals MVP  So that argument can easily go both ways fam. But do you.

What does a finals lead, 2015 finals, 2015 finals MVP have anything to do with KD vs Steph?

I swear the bronsexual coalition, no matter the platform, recite that same mantra lol.

Can't wait to see if Simmons is going to continue to get to any spot he wants once the playoffs arrive

It's literally easy for him without a jumper

If Ball and Kuzma dont play then the Lakers will be down 4 of their top 7 players. Just let this season end already please.

I might be in the minority here but I think the Lakers would be above .500 if they had better injury luck. So many of their key guys weren't hurt

Simmons doesn’t even need the 3 ball. Add the 18 footer and 70% from the line and he’s an mvp contender.

This Whole "Mortgaged" their whole future is some BS, that like many things in here is being discussed in hindsight.

Last year The Wolves Gave up the 7th pick, A 23 yr Old Rookie who damn near the Consensus of the league called a bust & A Young Guard who just tore his ACL & was going to get Paid this summer. For a Perennial All Star Who is great on both sides of the ball. To Pair with what the Wolves considered Two Future all NBA type talents. The trade made perfect sense at the time.

Fast Forward to now, Wiggins has actually Taken a step back, Jimmy Injured himself, Dunn has Looked Like an Actual good young player, & Lauri looks good. People are trying to **** on the Wolves now & it's stupid.

Say they don't do the trade the wolves are probably not in playoff contention at all, Forced to either let Lavine Walk or pay him big money, and have a core of KAT, Lauri, Wiggins, Dunn. That ain't exactly shaping them up to become some contenders. Dudes gotta realize that making the playoffs for a franchise especially a smaller market like Minny means a lot. Dudes hang their hats on "potential" & prospects all the time in this league & it RARELY works. Everyone isn't gonna be OKC or GS.

That's why intelligent folks don't declare any rookie to be a bust whether he's 22 or 23 or whatever

I also dispute that it was a consensus that Wiggins was a future "All NBA talent"

This. Its revisionist history at it's best. When the trade went down everyone was saying that the Bulls got fleeced.

End of the Day The wolves aren't in some sort of "bad" position based off the moves they made last offseason. W/o Injuries This team has a top 4 record in the west & will continue to be playoff squad & they still have two Young players with a lot of potential on the squad. So the whole mortgaged their future thing is overblown.
