shorty got my mans nervous as hell up there.

Basically.

Jerami Grant is the exact same player he was at DeMatha.

*****s acting like going to Syracuse is the end all be all.

If that kid never makes it to the NBA...it won't be because he didn't go to Syracuse.

So if he never makes it to the NBA, wouldn’t you say he made a mistake and should have just enjoyed the hell out of the college life for 4 years and moved on to something else if he didn’t make it in pro basketball afterwards?

If after 2 years he isn’t drafted and builds a 12 year career playing overseas, it would have been a waste of time to go to Syracuse for 4 years and play for free.

He'll then try to play over seas and still have not wasted four years of his life playing terrible ball

If he never makes it to the NBA...he'll likely make money playing basketball somewhere else.

****** that are top prospects don't stop playing basketball because they don't make it to the league. It's their craft...it's what they put the most time in to get money.

This fairy tale make believe **** of prospects "enjoying college life for 4 years" and going to do "something else" is not reality. ****** ain't spending 10,000 hours on basketball to going to get a marketing job somewhere.

This isn't a 3 star prospect we're talking about here. Professional basketball is likely in his future...

We all know some all americans dont play for free. Heck he might earn more playing the NCAA cause G league bags arent that great.

Guarantee if he got money from Syracuse, he’s already had it.

Bread to commit, bread to sign scholarship papers
:nerd:

The notion that playing overseas is always good is wrong. If youre a below average G league player youre not playing in China, Philippines and Korea where the bags are bigger(ABL doesnt count trash *** league). This is due to the limit on foreign players this applies to central american leagues too.Top Euro clubs also wont pay you cause they can get better players you can play div 2 euro ball which is hell. You might be left playing for 45k for 4 months of work cause thats how long the season is in Iran, Lebanon etc,

What's the problem here? Some pay better than others and opportunities are circumstantial.

Sounds alot like the actual job market.

That would be hilarious if you got money under the table to commit and then said nah im going to G-League and get paid there throughout the year. What could they do about it.

Zero. I know a young man that got bags from 2 schools and didn’t go to either. Who is going to tell?

The opportunities of an average G league player isnt ideal to say the least. If he busts and sucks he might not find a place to develop. If the G league team doesnt use him since they feel he isnt ready to contribute. He really isnt left with good options. An 18 year old Kid living alone in Iran isnt ideal and foreign coaches HATE young players.
