Do you guys really need reps to justify your opinion? lol

Lonzo is shooting like homeless mans trash and I guarantee you off the ball Luke is telling him to stay behind the 3 point line. Also telling him to keep shooting that trash

Are we talking about Brandon Ingram or Andre roberson?

Who in the league are you flat out not closing out on behind the 3? And even if you can’t shoot it, you have to maintain spacing

There's a lot of players you're not closing out to, Rondo (American and Croc versions), Zo, Randle, Wade, and pretty much anybody that doesn't shoot them at all or shoot a low percentage.

BI is not a catch and shoot guy which y'all are neglecting, most of his stuff comes of the dribble and iso situations. I don't want him shooting 3s in that scenario. Get as close to the basket as possible.

American Rondo isn’t a shooter but he’s kept the defenses honest percentage wise. Even still, his lack of shooting handicaps whatever offenses he runs.

Be Better simmons is a dominant ball handler primarily playing PNR and scoring in transition.

Wade is from the old regime of SGs but he’s a PNR savant and has always had high usage. No coincidence he’s trash due to the drop in usage

Randle would start if he could make 3s (and finish consistently)

Brandon would be much better served getting the ball above the 3 point line than in the mid range. Him being out there absolutely improves space

Lonzo hasn't shown a consistent ability to beat his man off the dribble & get finish yet & he's also not 6'9-6'10 with a 7'3 Wingspan.

From everything i've watched this season Brandon has been much better getting the ball at 20 & beating his man to the basket, then getting out at 25 & allowing the defense a lil more time to size thins up.

i would have no problem with him taking two more threes per if Luke was getting him set plays, but the majority of his threes seem to be off Iso's.

The subject was closing out to those guys. It's not happening. Hell the hapless Hawks were going way under screens and daring Wade to take 3s yesterday and he obliged somewhat and went 1-5. So how did he benefit them when the defense didn't react to him out there? Spacing is great if the opposition views you as a threat from outside if they don't, you're not actually helping your team see Roberson.

that's where we will just agree to disagree because watching himplay the past few games he's been much better suited grabbing the ball in the midrange & immediately attacking, as opposed to Iso's at the 3 point line. Mainly due to not playing with too many solid shooters, hence yes there's more space overall, yet it makes it more difficult to actually get to the basket & it gives the defense more chances to cut off driving lanes & rotate back to there man.

You'll always have more driving lanes from further out as you have more floor space. Not even an arguable point. No one is saying he can't attack from the mid range, never take mid range shots, or anything remotely close. We're saying the more efficient way to play to his strengths is for him to do two things 1) shoot more threes as they are more efficient jumpers than the ones he's currently taking. 2) hover around the 3 point line instead of mid range as you both increase your options to get to your spots and help your teammates get to theirs when you're off ball.

Laker fans, it’s no coincidence Kuzma has been the better player between he and Ingram.

Better in what way exactly, because they've both been putting up 15 PPG, Kuzma defense has been horrid while BI had played well above average. Kuzma has been more efficient & that would be expected when more than half your attempts come on spot ups & transition as opposed to BI working out the pick & roll & Iso's. Brandon is also being asked to create Offense for the team while Kuzma is asked to finish plays.

'You've Got to Shoot the Ball': LaVar Ball, Lakers Want More Looks for Lonzo

The senior Ball also has some concerns about head coach Luke Walton's rotation with his son.

"Let him play the whole fourth quarter and bet you'll always win. He'll get into a better flow," Ball said. "The in and out, sitting out six to 10 minutes? He's not going to take no shots because he's not in the flow. He don't want to hurt the team by shooting."

It's pretty funny y'all want everybody to play pace & space when they don't have the personnel to do so. Lakers are still the worst 3 point shooting team in the league I believe and y'all want them to take more even though they've been highly more effective in other ways scoring.

Kuzma who is a better shooter and more confident than BI out there, sure fire away and space. BI has a different skill set and is utilizing that to what helps the team.
