there is a lag in all the online game modes
you can account for online lag by putting game speed between 45 and 40, i've gone down to 35 to simulate bad lag
it works, it simulates the slown-down effect lag has on the gameplay and, most importantly, shot timing....

Ah, had no idea I had to hold up the stick. Makes sense since my myplayer would always go up, but never finish. He'd just catch it and come down.
