Latinos who vote Republican either are white, full blooded Spanish or Portuguese and/or descendants of later European immigrants to Latin America, or they are not what Americans white but they think they’re white.

Conservative Latinos love the legerdemain of saying that where they’re from there is no “one drop” rule and race is a continuum but since they now live in America, they acknowledge Anglo-America’s one drop rule so their one drop of Spanish blood makes them white.
