You guys hate black socialists as much if not more than me.
Your problem is with socialists who spoil your and other progressives’ beliefs that there’s this electoral path to a fundamentally more equitable society. In this context that is the issue and you work backwards and think “how can I discredit this particular socialist” and then call them a grifter, call them a trust fund baby, say that they’re poor white trash looking for a handout, call them a self hating black person, call them a white supremacist.
If the left were only full of white people, I’d be much more willing to listen but the majority of leftists in the world are not white and again, you guys **** on leftists on color all the time. So sorry, on this issue of socialism versus progressivism, I’m not buying your assessment.

I’ve spent a good part of the last 4 years trying to wrap my head around non-Cuban Latinos who supported Trump. I finally decided that I shouldn’t be surprised. Irish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish... everyone who has been offered membership has said yes. And the pitch is strong for third or fourth generation Latinos. Not much time goes by between some white person, usually someone you like, offering up, ”but you aren’t really Mexican.” And all you have to do is turn your back on everything that go you where you are, then you’re in. maybe I should be surprised that more people don’t sell out La Raza.

But GS has a corporate rate with Ritz Carlton - usually 30% or so off. I wonder if she shared that fact with her “friends”.

What libbies will never understand is the joy that Rush Limbaugh felt when he compared groups of three or more black men in any and all contexts with gangs. Libbies will never know the glee of calling women, who use birth control, prostitutes. Rush loved the game and by game I mean having a reoccurring segment where he mocked those who died of AIDS.
On a somewhat more serious note, all political persuasions enjoy mocking their opponents but in Rush’s World view, black people, single women, LGBTQ people have all of the power so it’s ok to mock them the way an actually good satirist mocks the people who actually wield power: the ultra wealthy, captains of industry, high level public officials and heads of state.

Conversely, I've never made a point about hating socialists of any kind. White fragility is centering yourself in an argument when talking to a thread full of BIPOC (predominately Black), and telling them that they hate socialists because they disagree with a ****** tweet that made little sense outside of being reactionary. White fragility is trying to whitesplain to this predominately Black thread that we shouldn't be mad at the white male Red Rose Twitter user for being upset against the structure of the gov't, a structure that harms people who look like us disproportionately more than it does someone like you who can theorize online about socialism all day and has admittedly grown up living a privileged life. Finally, white fragility is somehow claiming that these same Black people somehow hate other Black people more than you.
So yea, you are exhibiting your fragility. There's literally nothing that can be attributed by me in this thread that would lead one to believe that I "hate socialists". I'd expect more of a nuanced point from you in general but that clearly may be asking too much at this point. Any critiques of Red Rose Twitter seems to send you into a downward spiral.
