I believe that time and time again, the characteristic "tone deaf" has been used to describe Trump, his surrogates, and the inbreds who follow him. This is a textbook example of it right here.
This idiot finds himself in the midst of unprecedented allegations of sexist and misogynistic behavior for a presidential nominee, and his defense against separate , equally serious allegations of literally criminal sexual assault is, "look at the woman, she's unattractive, obviously I couldn't never have sexually assaulted her."

this disconnect between daily life/basic values/human decency and these fluffed up concerns (immigrants, terrorism, manufacturing jobs, etc) is a real problem for Republicans. they are so detached from reality that they live this life of buzzwords, constantly throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
i used to be that way. it's easy when you're living in the suburbs to blame inner city kids for their own struggles because, hey, they're too lazy and they do drugs. it's easy to blame single moms for sleeping around. it's easy to blame the traumatized homeless war veteran for being mentally weak. it's so easy to do because it allows you to pass off blame. same reason why trump pretended to care about black people for a week. so his white suburban supporters could feel ok about themselves.
so when a girl asks a question that boils down to basic human decency and the answer is about **** the girl doesn't give a **** about, it shows all that is wrong with trump and his people. his whole campaign, when you think about it, is that it's better to give up what makes us American so that we can have a little more security (which is of course debatable). take away all the sideshow crap about being a sexual predator, and we still have to reject him based on all i just typed. otherwise Republicans and their people will be back with the same message in 4 years, but led by someone more white and less orange.

I agree with whywesteppin 100%. The lack of basic human decency is disgusting. The fact that a man can talk about sexually assaulting women, disparage people with mental illnesses and fantasize about 10 year old girls is running for president is disgusting.
