They really let this man be president and he going be the downfall of the whole damn country

Just asking, what kind of ideas would the democrats put forth to lower housing/rent costs, that wouldn’t just be countered by “the inflation under Biden has caused everything to be unaffordable!”?

I realize there are things they could do, however I feel like the people who might be swayed would one way or another just would think back to precovid times… “Trump was in office then when things were better… he must have done something right!”

Excellent question and a difficult answer. I think direct government funding to cities and states for the purpose of building affordable housing could help. Not sure how that impacts inflation if it’s direct government dollars to state and local government then that might work. I also note that scumbag cities and states will not use the money for the intended purpose for political points.

So glad they put the award that high. And the sad thing, he'll run his mouth, say something defamatory, and get sued AGAIN!! He's too stupid to realize.

If staff members of your charity organization help PLAN TERRORIST ATTACKS against US allies.

there's a good chance that the US will pause your funding.

your position is the US should continue to fund charity groups that help plan terrorist attacks?

Look at this idiot:

Sure Biden kills

Imagine with Trump would do.

No need to imagine:

Announcing the policy change, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, said that “calling the establishment of civilian settlements inconsistent with international law hasn’t worked. It hasn’t advanced the cause of peace”.

Mr. Pompeo’s comments –which were reportedly condemned by Palestinian politicians, and the Jordanian Government, and welcomed by Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu – have been interpreted in press reports as a rejection of UN Security Council resolution 2334.

This resolution reaffirmed, in 2016, that Israel’s establishment of settlements on Palestinian land occupied since 1967, have “no legal validity”, and constitute a “flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the vision of two States living side-by-side in peace and security, within internationally recognized borders”. The resolution was adopted with 14 votes in favour, with the US abstaining.

And:

As if to boast, in a call to mark the Jewish New Year, President Trump told American Jewish leaders: “I stopped massive amounts of money that we were paying to the Palestinians.” Trump added he told the Palestinians, “We’re not paying until you make a deal.” On the face of it, such an approach may seem like a typical Trump negotiating tactic, but the decision is so misguided that in addition to having dire immediate consequences, it will haunt the United States for years to come.

You act like this conflict started in Oct 2023. UNRWA has had a lot of controversial moments that were simply ignored for the sake of their humanitarian mission (one of these instances being the agency leaving the Holocaust out of textbooks used in Gazan schools at the request of the legitimate government - Hamas).

Finding out that some of its workers participated in war crimes against Israeli civilians would be more than "not a good look" for UNRWA; it would be a deep stain on the vetting process of an organization that is supposed to help Palestinians without getting involved in the war itself.

I don't know what you'd expect the US to do.
