Strange as this sounds, I see GOP ads like this, negative polarizing Biden’s 2020 coalition more or less back into place.

Culture war is, by the slimmest of margins, a losing issue for the right.

Ads like these will drive a lot of leftists, Muslims, and other voters, otherwise alienated from Biden due to Palestine, back to voting for Democrats and this will cause a reverse coattail effect.

And this is just a glimpse of what’s to come. As Donald Trump becomes more visible and Republicans at the State level make more and more extreme election season promises, the negative polarization from 2020 and 2022 will be rekindled.

Obviously, we need to approach this election as the uncertain affair that it is; but objectively, we do compete with a slight, built-in advantage, which makes the US politics of the moment different from the US politics of 30, 40 years ago.
